I have a 2018 LR RWD Model 3 and have a mobile service appointment to install my FSD computer. I scheduled thru Tyson’s, VA Service Center and was able to get the appointment set up fairly quickly (2 weeks out)

... for the record, I have FSD and smart summon (not trying to start another complaint thread). I just think it could potentially be a demand lever down the road.

Do you have Enhanced Autopilot or Full Self Driving? Smart summon is only included in these packages.

Now that smart summon is officially released, I wonder if Tesla will include the forward/reverse only summon as part of the autopilot package. Smart summon will remain a FSD feature.

I ordered 2 cabin air filters from my local service center and ordered “Kilma-Cleaner AC Cleaner” from amazon. Happy to report my AC no longer smells like a dead rat wrapped in a sweaty gym sock. Here are some more pics of the evaporator and area where the cabin air filters fit:

I’ve always had the AC turned off for cabin overheat protection and still have the AC smell.

My car has done this since day 1 (June 2018), every time I enter the car and close the door. The screen comes back on when I put my foot on the brake or touch the screen. I thought it was normal behavior.

Double check that you don’t have a paint color selected. This is likely what’s causing the prices to show up differently. The prices haven’t changed at all yet on the website.

This happened to me a few weeks after taking delivery last summer, took it to the SC, they replace my steering control module. It’s been 9+ months since then and I haven’t had any issues.

Purchased EAP with my March 2018 build LR RWD 3. As of last week, no way in hell I was I upgrading to FSD until the FSD features are active and proven. Just pulled the trigger and upgraded to FSD for $2K.

Perfectly fine to put 18s on your car. The P3D is the only model 3 you can’t put the 18s or 19s on, due to its larger brakes.

From the beginning, 310 miles was not a realistic number for the AWD 3s. It could be that the AWD cars also got the range(capacity) bump, allowing AWD 3s to get closer to the stated 310 mile range? And Tesla is choosing not to boast about it. Probably unlikely, but just a thought.

Driving in any amount of rain or snow quickly distorts the rear camera to the point it is no longer useable. Now, can FSD operate effectively without this camera? I’m not sure

I won’t consider any EV that doesn’t have a fast charging network. For me, the Supercharger network is what makes a Tesla a no-compromise replacement of an ICE vehicle. Sure, waking up with a full charge every day is great, but for those of us who enjoy taking road trips, a fast charging network...

I have 2019.5.15 on my LR RWD and my range shows no increase at all. 90% still displays 277 miles range.

I updated last night to 2019.5.15. The car was charged at 90%, showing 277 miles before the update and still shows 277 miles after the update. RWD LR I wonder what’s causing the inconsistency here.

Not true. The 3 is actually safer than S and X. Model 3 achieves the lowest probability of injury of any vehicle ever tested by NHTSA

True. I’m not advocating perpetually waiting for hardware improvements. Personally, I’ll wait a few months of others being the test mules, see if it functions usefully, then buy FSD.

I foresee this happening: • Tesla releases new HW3 computer, service centers start installing the HW3 computer in Model 3s for those who bought FSD • Real world testing of HW3 computer begins.. better hope your warranty is still active • ~6 months later, Tesla improves the HW3 computer to HW...

I would wait until the FSD features are released before buying. That’s my plan.

I love the wheels. Not trying to be a hater, but lowering a car has never looked visually correct/symmetrical to me. The distance between the wheel and the fender on the X-axis don’t match the Y-axis.
