List of Available Wheel Replacements for Yoke

Drove the yoke for a few thousand miles. I learned to live with it, but it was always a handicap. Fine for everyday driving, freeway cruising might even be an advantage over a round wheel. In EVERY other scenario this 360 wheel is superior. Will never go back. Unleashed Custom wheel (perf...

Thoughts on Yoke from Plaid owner

Pray you never, ever have an oh sh** moment with the yoke that requires rapid hand over hand counter steering corrections. This could happen in everyday driving; tire blowout at speed, accident avoidance maneuver, oversteer while cornering on slick surface. In all of these scenarios the argument...

WTB 2022 Model S LR carbon fiber spoiler

My Plaid spoiler is no longer available, it's going back on the car. Why you're wondering? The RPM spoiler I intended to replace it with fit like sh*t ! After test fitting multiple units at RPMs HQ it was discovered that the fitment was subpar. We test fit every single unit they had in stock...

    Creaky sound plaid

2022 Plaid here with 3 annoying interior sounds. All but 1 is resolved now. 1) had what sounded like a loose bolt rolling around somewhere below the center console. Super annoying as it would slide back and forth with every turn - like a screw in a metal can. Service dissembled the center...

WTB 2022 Model S LR carbon fiber spoiler

2nd batch came in...same as the first batch...gaps at the end. I've decided to just get a refund and put the stock spoiler back on. Bummer. On the other hand the RPM carbon mirror caps fit great. Gus from RPM said the larger carbon parts are just hard to get 100% perfect so small gaps are...

WTB 2022 Model S LR carbon fiber spoiler

I went with the RPM v-style. As luck would have it I went to their shop to install it and the fit was not perfect (small gaps at the end). Waiting for the next batch to see if the fitment is better. In the meantime I’m rolling sans spoiler.

    Jebinc’s review of N2itive’s RSX-2 Plaid / Refreshed MS/LR Lowering Links!

Could definitely use some rear camber arms for the refresh ASAP. Running -8 on the links in the rear put my camber at -2.6 degrees in low. That will eat up those expensive 4S tires quick. I can't imagine what kind of specs the guys running -10 and -13 on the links are seeing...probably well over...

N2itive Lowering Links for Refreshed LR/Plaid

My Plaid no longer finalizes "Cheetah stance" with the N2uitive links set at 7 up front and 8 in the rear. I'm running 4S tires 285/30/21 square. The car still launches just fine and performance seems unaffected but you don't get the satisfaction of that "ready" indicator in the dash.

You are correct...I can officially second that now that my wheels are installed. I'm running 4S in 285/30/21 square and its 30-40% louder if I were to guesstimate a number compared to OEM 19s. Windows up + stereo louder fixes it LOL People are saying the noise decreases with miles but I'm...

^ that's a more complex question than you think. Do you prioritize aesthetics over everything else? Go 21s. If you value performance (lighter), more tire options, and cost...go 20". If you want Tesla spec foam lined tires you're stuck with 21" OEM tires For a decent flush fit on stock ride...

BC Forged 21” wheels on my Plaid

Their respective wheel designs are supposed to be bespoke but there are a few designs they seem to "share" with BC - or at least they are indistinguishable in design to my eye. The KL01 that BigBoost has is actually subtly different than the Signature SV104. However, the BC RZ21 is almost...

Looks aggressive Jamie! I like me some poke! Is it just the tire that pokes because it hangs over the rim or is the face of the wheel actually poking beyond the fender?

MS Plaid range when using aftermarket wheels?

Have you seen the 19s with the aero caps removed? It’s not terrible for the “free” option. If your priority is range > appearance I'd just rock these. You can powdercoat them black too if you like that look.

I can relate, I've spent the last two weeks doing homework on offsets/fitment for my Plaid. I respect the work wheel companies go through to find fitments for new vehicles like the Plaid, so I'm not going to break their balls on that - they're protecting their investment. The easy route would...
