Solar Panels UK - is it worth it?

One thing I would advise is also to consider lower capacity panels. You may find that because they're smaller than the larger ones, you can actually get more of them up on your roof and have more capacity. So make sure you know your roof capacity.

    Changes to Supercharging?

So it's £10.99 membership for non Tesla owners per month to get our 'member' prices. All Tesla's are members. As soon as I had the email, I checked with my mate if he'd had it as he's a non Tesla owner. You can see the non membership charge for Frankley which we both checked against.

Wiki Everything you wanted to know about Intelligent Octopus But Were Afraid To Ask

Io is still charging my car, but it’s not actually telling me what slots I’m getting. If I stop the charging or adjust the charge limit, the app will still respond. My home automation isn’t seeing Yes, I was finding the same last night. The Octopus app was controlling my charging, but not...

App nor octopus IO not waking up model 3

Hmm, I held off installing the latest firmware until Friday. I had an io charge planned to start at 10.30 for 2am trip to the airport. When I went to manually charge my home battery at the same time I noticed the car hadn’t started charging which is unusual for me. I manually started it and...

As soon as I plug my car in. I press stop charging on the app. It will then start when io tells it to. Io knows the state of charge of my car as well and will not charge if I’m telling it to charge above the level the car is set to charge to. I don’t schedule any charging in the Tesla app at...

Solar Panels UK - is it worth it?

I think you need to look at the fact that they probably make money even when you’re paying 7.5p. Even though it’s winter now you’ll still see the 30 min agile prices dip below 7.5p during the cheap periods.

Octopus are rapidly making the great features of myenergi hardware redundant. Their 15p export means the eddi is no longer financially viable to divert excess solar. And now the io features of compatible cars and ev chargers are neutering the zappi.

If the rise in insurance is because of repair costs why isn’t third party cheap too?

Cheers. I also bought mine a week ago. I did end up with Admital myself. Although I ended up paying £1300. C’est la vie!

IPace and merc Eq 400 were both more expensive than Tesla for me. Polestar on the other hand was less than £900.

If the rise in insurance is because of repair costs why isn’t third party cheap too?

So after comparing the Polestar 2 (which I prefer the looks of) and a m3p (which I prefer living with) I've bit the bullet and pick up a 70 plate 9k mile Tesla on Friday. Managed to get the insurance down to £1300  but will offset the cost by not buying a wall charger for a while, as I...

If the rise in insurance is because of repair costs why isn’t third party cheap too?

Hi all, I've actually joined this forum today as I'm struggling with insurance quotes myself. This weekend I listed my very rare 5.0l V8 Lexus ISF on autotrader with the plan being to move into a used Tesla model 3. We have a free charger at work and I also have solar and a battery and was...
