Discussion: Model 3 and Y price drop Jan 2023 / April 2023 / Oct 2023 and All other Pricing Speculation going forward

Can I get GAP insurance after delivery? Delivered 12.28.22. $10k down. Loan is $55k. Like thousands others I am underwater and further screwed if car is totaled, now driving extremely carefully. (I will not be taking my hands off the wheel regardless of FSD !) Its a fun car but hard to...

Is GAP insurance a good idea now used car prices dropping fast?

Same situation with me. Took delivery late last year. $10k down. $55k loan owed with WF. If totaled car at today's prices I would be $10+ out. I owe more on it than it is worth.......... Did they give any indication if you can get GAP within 30 days of purchase?

like your positive outlook!!! - still hurts when I look at my car payment (after putting $10k down) and I still owe more than what I can buy a new one for

    The recent price drop

The point everyone is making is a 20% decrease is ridiculous in the car market. 5-10% although still very large for this market I can handle. Then the fed rebate - oouch. - we all knew about but so much uncertainty with which models and timeframe due to unknown source of the production...
