Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
I wanted to mention to those that have not taken delivery yet... the car has 5 "USB C" ports. The reason this is important is because USB C is completely different connector from USB 1/2/3. FYI.
Hi guys, just got my new MS today and tried a custom and it won't work. I've reset it a few times and tried both ports in the front to no avail. I'm running 43.202
Picked up this White Knight today. Little pin size dent on the hood (weird!) and some small hood aligment needed. That was all. Of course, it has a worm!
Only issue is the turning ratio with the yoke. It has too much play in it for my taste. That's minor IMO but overall, love it!
I enabled this feature here in the US with my 2018 X5. It was disabled from the factory in Spartanburg, SC but I enabled it via a laptop and ODN. Here is what the "matrix" headlights will be doing once it's enabled via Tesla OTA update. ENJOY.
The video is great overall but if you go to the...
I don't think we have seen a 473 VIN yet. As far as I can tell, the line was stopped during 472 so yours could be the first new S or the last of the pre-S.
No one knows for certain. If someone makes their way to the "event", maybe those cars have the new stuff but at this moment there is no fire, but we do see a lot of smoke. :p
Oh right. I remember that pic. Thanks for clarifying. I thought perhaps someone had snapped a new pic from one of the showrooms highlighted in that "event" announcement.
Who took that and where was it? Headlights? Because the email didn't have a date, I wondered if these were already in the showrooms. Can anyone get pics of front and back? Wondering about new headlights....
We know Telsa does not show new features until it's rolling off the line. It's really smart IMO and that is consistent with past practices. Question is.. who gets the first one?
That is ridiculous IMO. I think if Elon knew that was happening, he very practical and level-minded, he would agree and honor that 2K. I bet he has no idea. Not sure how you "get the word to him' but I would try.
So how would a new owner, outside of knowing what old vs new even looks like, know if they got new lights? The NGHB option won't be enabled yet. I guess the new lights would have a new part number?
I'd like it all but hoping for matrix light. I had a 2018 X5 5.0 and I used my laptop to edit the files and enable no-glare high beams. Its the only thing I miss from car.
Telsa called me at 8:58PM last night. Offering me the car. Sasid they would honor my old price but charge me $3500 for paint and interior color (Blue/Cream) but give me a 3K credit so I'd be looking at a net $500 increase. Then he tells me the car has been damaged and repaired at an "approved...
