I’m new to the tesla community and I didn’t realize they even sold a MYSR . I would rather the LR , but Since this was on the existing inventory in my city, I assumed I would get it right away. The SA who help me get my vin back said the notes specifically state do not reassign vin. Go figure...

Sounds similar to my story except I made the final payment and a week later still no car!! Ridiculous

I saw a new model y existing inventory on the website yesterday and immediately bought it!! So happy now I don’t have to be worried about my current approval timing out and I get my delivery Thursday.. Blue/black inter/tow/20’/3rd row/fsd/19 miles

I completely understand where your coming from. I just placed an order for the MYP, I also want to see if this car will be available before my MYLR. I have a funny feeling it just might! We shall see….

Very interesting they would cancel your car for removing FSD. I thought this was a software upgrade which would not affect anything else on the car. Tesla makes no sense at times

Lucky you. I am in the bay area of California and none of the service advisors answer the phones or returns emails. I called the 800 number put in a totally different ZIP Code (New York) and what do you know they answer the phone every time I’ve done this. So sad

I also think it’s strange that there are no model wise in inventory and you cannot get a hold of any SA Who is located in the bay area. Literally they Called me nonstop trying to have a take delivery on June 30 but July 1st rolls around and you can’t even get them on the phone very interesting.

Absolutely no payments in between. Once they have you scheduled for delivery, they will want the full payment but until then nothing.

I believe they go off of the date you take your car off hold and complete all of your pre delivery tasks.

I’m not totally convinced Tesla uses your order date to decide when you get your vehicle. I ordered my model Y back in June 2020 however I put in hold until 6/29/21. Once my account update it it showed me a delivery date of 7/5-7/24 (held steady for 5 days) then now it says 9/13-9/30. I ordered...

I’m not sure if this is a true statement I ordered my model Y last year in June 2020, Knowing that I wouldn’t take delivery until this year however I took my car off hold June 30. First I had a delivery date holding steady from 7/5-7-26. Today I checked and it now says 9/23-9/30. SMH
