Absolutely love the performance of the Vredestein Quatrac Pros I put on right after buying my Y last December. Drove ~10K New York / New England / Pennsylvania winter miles last winter and they were terrific. Now up to 19K and they have been great in all conditions (very good in wet).

depends on the fenders—I have a Surly Cross Check built up with SKS fenders and with a few quick one-time adjustments my 1-UP works perfectly with it.

Very hard to imagine why this would be the case for "vertical load," a proxy for torque, which is (almost) entirely a matter of shear forces on the bolts, etc. I'm sure it's the same between the different variants of the Y.

With 160 lbs total to load, I'm basically assuming that there is enough tolerance built into whatever calculation Tesla's engineers did from the actual torque numbers that I can get away with it — and I definitely am planning to load the bikes in order...
