Brother in law got the spoiler today and test fit was perfect on his 2019 MS. The one thing that was concerning was the double sided tape coverage was very minimal, just a very thin strip. Did any of you use just that or did you supplement with 3M double sided tape?

Agree. I can't believe how much stuff I clean off the mud flaps. I am happy I have them. Sure they scrape the ground here and there. But by keeping the ride height at medium, I rarely scrape now (I did not cut them shorter).

Great! That's good to hear since he ordered it already yesterday. :) I have the OEM plaid spoiler and that was very easy to install. Hopefully the RPM one won't be too hard.

Been enjoy driving my refresh refresh so much that I haven’t checked this thread recently. But this news today is exciting. Granted, can’t say I have felt the need to be able to swivel the screen, but it would be cool if it does. I wonder if Tesla will make it easy to retrofit.

I believe this is the guy that posted it was official that Tesla shut the factory down for a few days for the refresh/refresh and that VIN for LR received after whatever the date he posted was going to be the refresh/refresh.

Anyone trust this? The question was about ambient lighting in the car. This implies a software update is coming for VIN starting March 2022 on the screen system from drivers side to passenger.

Hmmm. No one has mentioned that. In this picture I think his shadow is blocking part of the fog lamp on left.

I think the lights project wide enough that it is not needed. But we will see.

The headlight during the day is not better or worse looking. It's just unique and new. I do love the look of them at night as all 4 lights are on and makes the car look even more aggressive.

Agree it was mostly refreshed with the 2021 S. I placed my order last July for the updated interior but at the time still couldn’t understand why they did not update the tail lights. I think Tesla just couldn’t get them ready and perhaps that is why it was priced lower then. Tesla should...

I posted some photos of my car on the main delivery thread the other day. Really love the look of the new lights. Figure I would share it here for those wondering what they look like lit. By the way, all 4 matrix lights are always on when headlight is turned on.

I might have to check, but this is setting it at just parking light which might also be DRLs.

Speaking of headlights. One thing I noticed when taking photos today is all 4 matrix lights are on whenever headlight is turned on. Might have to see what the lights do differently when high beams are switched on….

How The reason mine had 2 screws only was because the other screw holes were not lined up, see photo. That is due to panel not set correctly. Then whoever was supposed to put the screws in just decided to say *sugar* it...

No, the issue was the top of the panel did not latch to door frame properly. I had to remove 4 hidden screws, take the entire panel off, re-aligned it and put the screws (2 of 4) back in. Service will bring me 2 more screws, but for now, it is good enough. FYI. I have never taken a door...

Yeah, I wouldn't have bothered if it wasn't because I am an hour away from service center and mobile tech cannot come until 3/31.

Gotta love QC at Tesla factory. I discovered my 3 day old car had a loose driver door panel (was wondering why it was rattling). Disassembled the door panel and found it was only held by 2 out of the 4 screws that are supposed to be there. At least the door panel is not rattling now...

I have fixed the door panel. Funny thing is 2 screw holes were not lined up so out of 4 screws it is supposed to be used, only 2 screws were there. Unreal.

Great suggestion regarding YouTube. Looks like someone has already posted a video on how to remove the door panel for the refresh S! It looks pretty simple.

I went to the higher ups at the service center earlier today. They will send mobile tech to fix it.

Took delivery 2 days ago and did not catch one of the door panels being loose. I know I should just wait for Tesla to come out and fix it. But is this something that can be fixed easily myself, meaning is it just not clipped in?

Thanks! I had it printed out and at the last minute forgot to take it with me. Downloaded on my phone while on the way... Once I saw the car, I fell in love and the whole thought of checking thru the list went out the window.
