I’m also considering a 14-50 to wall connector conversion. In my case, the 14-50 junction box is surface-mounted (at the end of a conduit run on the surface of the garage wall)… so it seems a proper installation would require recessing the junction box. I’m debating if it is with the effort.

Assumptions must be off somewhere - 277 rated miles for a range charge would be 12 more than I got when brand new.

Did my first range charge today since changing to 90% charging a few months ago. My 90% consistently yields 231 rated, and today's range charge yielded 258 rated (both with range mode on). Used to get 265 when new, with range mode off. Car is 23 months old, with ~17k miles.

Sounds like our experiences are all over the map. I took my car in at 11 months to have a few minor items addressed. At no charge, they fixed the 5 items I took it in for, plus applied a handful of service bulletins and rotated my tires. All of this was done at no cost, and I have not purchased...

I have under 10k miles. My last range charge ~3 weeks ago yielded 244 rated miles. When new, I routinely got 265. I use 14-50 at home, never used a HPWC. Have used SC's about 25 times.

I believe the SOC is relevant if you are comparing 0-60 times.
