I know, and I'm not kicking the dog over it or anything. I am kinda irritated this wasn't caught at the factory as part of a final systems test and inspection, though.

I saw another earlier video about the Pebble Flow and I believe you can run a line to the towing vehicle to share the battery. Plus it has its own drive wheels. I'm sure there's a reduction in range compared to a vehicle not towing anything, but I don't think it's down to 100-150 miles.

Savannah, GA is my closest dealer location. If I went to Charlotte, it would have been twice the distance. Tesla can't do direct sales in South Carolina due to the strong car dealership lobby here. There are laws on the books prohibiting OEM sales. Good ol' boy network in play.

I made the switch last Friday, and I got the message today, so a week exactly.

I switched to black a week ago, immediately got a VIN, and delivery is set for the 29th. I'm happy to see the white interiors are coming out. I would have preferred that myself, but I'm not going to get too hung up on it. Still looking forward to my car and still plan on enjoying the hell out of it.

Your mileage may vary (no pun intended), but I got a VIN within 5 minutes of changing to black interior in the app.

I switched from White interior to black. Originally, I was going with Stealth Grey, but figured if I was going spend the extra $1500 for the white interior anyway, I'd change the exterior color to black. My total sale price actually went down about $500.

So I'm a wimp. I just ordered 2 weeks ago and I can't stomach the idea of possibly going through summer without my car. I switched to black interior and immediately got a VIN. Insurance acquired, loan approved. Delivery 4/20 - 4/29.
