I’ve read a few posts about the best sunshade for the windshield, and covercraft seems to be very popular. Anyone know if the 2022 model Y windshield is the same as the 2021? Covercraft has a 2021 model but no 2022 one yet. Anyone with a 2022 model Y have a good recommendation? Thanks!

Ugh same thing happened to me. I stupidly believed the EDD timelines. Who are you using? My experience: I let it expire and did a new one when I got my vin. Unfortunately I think you’ll have to have your credit run again :(

Update 2: scheduled my delivery appointment for today, my SA called me last night and said the car wasn’t ready so we moved it to Sunday morning. Just got off the phone with him and said the car STILL isn’t ready, re-rescheduled for Monday. His explanation: the car is waiting to be shipped out...

Fingers crossed this is just a mistake. Be weird asking you if you still want it after they’ve given you a VIN lol. Tesla: we just want to REALLY make sure you still want it.

FWIW, I did. It’s very unsettling to pay that much cash up front, but I didn’t want anything holding up my delivery. After I submitted payment, I had a delivery date the next morning.
