2023 Model Y RWD, LFP battery: Initial range at 418 instead 445 km

Speaking of mud flaps, has anyone seen any that fit in FRONT of the front wheels? (I used to have these on my Mercedes and BMW's in the past). What they do is help prevent water from being sent forward when you hit a puddle, and then flying up on to the windshield. This happened to me twice...

2023 Model Y RWD, LFP battery: Initial range at 418 instead 445 km

My 2022 Model Y SR (chinese built with CATL LFP battery) showed 420km when new, and after 27,000km, is now showing 421. It is very strange that yours is so low IMO... I keep mine on trickle charge every night, and most mornings it is at 100% (i.e. a lot more than the recommended once per...

    Tesla Electric in Australia

I've been in the Melbourne Australia VPP since its inception a few years ago. Originally I was with AGL / Tesla VPP, now switched to Amber (wholesaler) / Tesla VPP. I'm looking forward to Tesla Electricity and Tesla Insurance even more !!!

    ChargeFox Barnarwartha

I have used this site regularly (4 times in one year). As an NRMA (blue) member they give me a 20% discount, dropping the price per kWh from 60c to 48c. I have now upgraded to full NRMA membership after getting by Tesla Model Y (RWD) bogged in Melbourne (neighbours front yard). :-(

    ChargeFox EV charging Network

    1. There was no-one at the SC site. 2. We didn't know it was going to be -4C and ice all over the car. We were planning to leave at 5am, and expected cold (just not sub zero!)

    ChargeFox EV charging Network

I used the Tesla App / Climate / Defrost car a weeks ago at a Motel where it was -4C and the car had 5mm of ice all over it. It sucked 6kWh to clear, and precondition (via the scheduler) to go 2km to the SuperCharger. Filled to 100% the night before, and filled to 100% again in the morning due...

    Find lost keys via RFID?

From my experience using an NFC ring on my finger, my Model Y is NOT always listening (or transmitting). No amount of tapping on the B pillar will open the car BUT... I've found if I press my thumb on the door handle, the car wakes up, the screen is awake, and now my NFC ring works every time...

    Tesla moments

I just bought my wife a Ryobi One+ 18 volt Lithium Ion battery powered electric mower, and she loves it. Why? because it has to be carted up 10 steps to get to our new home rear lawn. Price was also good(ish) at AU$299. Once we move into the new house, I'll sell my gas powered YardMaster self...
