I've been in the Melbourne Australia VPP since its inception a few years ago. Originally I was with AGL / Tesla VPP, now switched to Amber (wholesaler) / Tesla VPP. I'm looking forward to Tesla Electricity and Tesla Insurance even more !!!

I have used this site regularly (4 times in one year). As an NRMA (blue) member they give me a 20% discount, dropping the price per kWh from 60c to 48c. I have now upgraded to full NRMA membership after getting by Tesla Model Y (RWD) bogged in Melbourne (neighbours front yard). :-(

From my experience using an NFC ring on my finger, my Model Y is NOT always listening (or transmitting). No amount of tapping on the B pillar will open the car BUT... I've found if I press my thumb on the door handle, the car wakes up, the screen is awake, and now my NFC ring works every time...

I just bought my wife a Ryobi One+ 18 volt Lithium Ion battery powered electric mower, and she loves it. Why? because it has to be carted up 10 steps to get to our new home rear lawn. Price was also good(ish) at AU$299. Once we move into the new house, I'll sell my gas powered YardMaster self...
