12v switched power for Radar Detector

This hole is gone? I have this hole that I can screw in a ground wire on my 2021 Model 3. From my post in a different switched 12V thread. https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/posts/6074148/

Thanks! So the USB-C port in the center console cannot not be used to power a Raspberry Pi? Just want to double check. Thanks.

how do you all power the Pi inside Tesla? Just USB-C to USB-C cable or do you need a power supply?

12v switched power for Radar Detector

Most (all?) ICE cars when the engine is running driving its alternator, the "12V" output is at 15V or more. All 12V car electronics are designed to account for varying voltage. Nothing is going to burn up. don't worry.

12v switched power for Radar Detector

Cops have been using laser guns for decades. I have a 20-year-old V1 and it detects laser. The trick is don't be the leading car in a pack. If there are no cars in front of you on highway, you stay within speed limit and on the look out for cops. Radar detectors can detect radar signals...

    Lost access to FSD Beta

I am sorry this happened to you. Paying so much money for a software feature that is advertised as so superior, yet it is not yet ready (and hasn't been ever) for general release, you can't even participate in the beta program. What a scam. Imagine any other software company doing this.

Change only one tire? NTB won't do it

You can replace just the right front tire. At worst you could replace both front tires since you already have mismatched front and rear tires. If NTB doesn't want to do it, go somewhere else.

Tire Dealer Recommendations (WA - puget sound)

I used Discount Tire in Redmond next to Home Depot in November. They have been all very busy and shorthanded. You can order online on Discount Tire's web site, or just walk in. Walk in may work better and can get you in the queue to get the work done, if tires you want are in stock. At the...

Has anyone suddenly started hydroplaning in rain? [tires were bald]

You mean this? LOL! This guy writes a lot about bicycles. He knows nothing about cars. https://www.downtube.com/pages/tesla-problems-flaws/

Has anyone suddenly started hydroplaning in rain? [tires were bald]

Not a Tesla fan boy here. Model 3 is certainly far from perfect. All cars can hydroplane given the right condition and lack of driving skills. Noob user error, really, and blames the car. If hydroplaning once while going too fast and decides not to drive in the rain ever again, then thank...
