I've been poking around this again. I need to give XCel a call. You can opt-out, but it sounds like that incurs a $12/month manual meter reading fee. It seems like it should be technically possible to install the new (remote accessible) meters, but still provide the "opt-out" rate structure...

Just received a Setec adapter. Ordered 4/26 and arrived 4/30 (Denver). Shipped from Brea, Ca. UPS Ground. A tracking number would have been nice. There were no follow up messages post order. Doing Denver to Santa Fe next month and would like a backup charging source.
