There is a temporary fix. Read through this thread if you haven’t yet. It does suck that they continue to sell these with this known gremlin.

I live in Arizona. I did 35% all the way around plus the roof. (I needed to attenuate the sun in my head.) As far as a match, it’s minor and really unnoticeable because it’s difficult to see a side by side comparison of the horizontal roof and vertical windows.

Mine has the same issue. It’s been that way for 4 years. I don’t twist or coil mine either. It hasn’t given me any problems.

I'm in the valley as well. Having had my M3LR for 4 years this month, I've eaten (actually my insurance company has) 3 windshields from rocks on the freeway. When it was new, I PPF'd the front bumper, fenders, hood and side mirrors. Not one single chip, literally. I'm thinking that's pretty good...

I'm about as picky about my stuff as one can be. Sometimes, however, the fix makes the problem worse... ask me how I know! The trim can be fixed by the SC. If the paint goober is inside the trunk, best to ignore it.
