Remove ABS dash trim and console caps?

I want to refresh my ‘20 M3LR interior a little bit, changing the carbon fiber look to matte black. When I bought it 4 years ago, I installed ABS caps on the dash trim and console. They went down with 3M tape. While I live in Phoenix, the car pretty much lives undercover. Any suggestions of how to best remove the old caps without f**cking something up?

Probably consider warming them up with a blow dryer, while gently prying them loose? Just a thought.

That is my intended first move. I figured I’d ask first for some group-think from others that have encountered the same thing. Thanks for the quick response!
