London company to fix window scratches?

My daughter's car has picked up some scratches from the wipers. I was going to use Carpro Ceriglass and a DA polisher but I was concerned this may leave some micro scratches from the Cerium Oxide. I then saw two national companies which offer glass polishing (www.superglassuk.com and Home |...

    [UK] 2024.8.x

I was thinking the same earlier this week. Tesla actually provide instructions how to correctly align the Model Y headlights against a wall including the measurements. When I can find a flat car park and wall (probably a multi-storey will be best), I will give it a try: Model Y Service Manual |...

    MY23 Induction Touch Up Paint

Managed 18 months before I curbed it. Like you, I will in due course get the rim professionally refurbished once it has more damage! In the interim, I ordered this touch up paint from eBay. The amount supplied is very small and the colour match is not perfect, but it has done the job in the...

    Matrix headlights - finally???

Agreed. That could well be the case and even if the hardware is present, Tesla may not see the financial benefit in devoting the time and resources to virtually retrofitting legacy vehicles.

    Matrix headlights - finally???

Report by Drive Tesla that Matrix headlights are finally on their way, but sadly only for Highland cars at this stage. We can only hope that this is extended in due course to all cars equipped with matrix capable hardware.

    2023 Holiday Update

I was tempted. I've used their other Carplay dongles which have worked well. You can get this Tesla unit much cheaper direct from Carlinkit for US$55 using the code Save30. I've ordered previously them direct a couple times and delivery has been relatively quick. Carlinkit: CarlinKit Wireless...

    2023 Holiday Update

Assuming that Tesla developed HFPA for non-USS cars, they are probably not prepared to incur the cost of developing the system for older USS equipped vehicles. The logical solution therefore would be to give drivers the choice by adding a switch to allow drivers to select either USS without HFPA...

    Octopus Go/Go Faster/Flux/Agile/IO ??

The initial connection with my Home Mini was a nightmare. However, if you persist with Octopus support, you will get the issue escalated and resolved eventually. In my case, the LED would continue to flash blue even after completing the set-up process with the Mini sitting in front of the meter...

    Refreshed Model 3 imminent

In terms of an interior update, the 3 is reported to be losing the wood trim. Source: Link

    Model 3 aluminium plates

I was fortunate that my car was supplied by Tesla with the metal backed plates. The bending process was not scientific - I used my leg, gently bending the plate in stages to avoid cracking the (plastic?) front face.

    Model 3 aluminium plates

I've mounted the plates directly onto my model Y and it has worked well. IMO, the car looks much better without the plastic frames. The plates were aluminium which enabled me to bend the front plate gently to match the curve in the front mounting plate. Having cleaned all surfaces with...

Is the Model Y LR fitted with Matrix Headlights?

I used to own a BMW M340i with the full adaptive lighting package. It was excellent, especially at drawing “boxes” around vehicles and not dazzling oncoming traffic. Whilst I miss those features, I wouldn’t say the light coverage is worse as the Tesla LEDs have good range, it’s just that you...

    New delivery MY differences

Your upper arm looks the same as mine. So, it's just the coil spring part number which differs from the parts diagram kindly posted by @Durzel .

    New delivery MY differences

The plot thickens! There is a post on Facebook stating that the upper arm is different on the latest cars and that the coil spring has a different part number. This is a photo showing my OSF spring and the part number 1188064 is different compared to the parts diagram above. My upper arm is...
