Mine took about a week or two for the Volt using direct deposit. I called 5 weeks after I applied wondering where the rebate was and they had already automatically deposited it weeks before without notifying me!
Actually I just emailed the Tesla Toronto store and was told they deduct it from our bill of sale. They apply directly for us. Cool.
Even better if it is deducted before sales taxes are calculated!

Yeah, I've been a Tesla fan since the Eberhard days, so I figured it was time to get more active.
I'm kind of the Tesla evangelist for my area, but it's a hard sell when the nearest charging station is a couple thousand kms away.
It's not! Sun Country Highway has just built a national network of charging stations. Very shortly a Tesla Roadster will drive from Newfoundland to Victoria using only Sun Country Highway charging stations along the way. Most of the stations are 70A capable.
The location of all these charging stations will be posted online at the completion of the tour.

That's great news, but why the secrecy? It would be nice to know where they are now.

@Mayhemm will be pleased to know that the founder of SCH is based in SK, so your home province will be well covered shortly! I had the pleasure of "beta testing" most of the charge stations from Vancouver through Virden, MB in October. At that time there were still some gaps to fill (and some nights sleeping upright in the Roadster at RV parks), but it will truly be a great asset when they are well built-out. The really great thing is that they are putting in mostly 70A-capable stations, not the wimpy 30A ones all over the U.S. This saves tens of hours on a long road trip, and should tide us all over until the Supercharger Network eventually reaches us in several years.
