Yes, I came across a thread that mentioned the TPMS was disabled or at least can be disabled for EU cars. I wish that would be the case for US since the 2.x TPMS system sucks.

My car have not TPMS
Only normal tire valves
And nothing in the menues

I was asked if I wanted TPMS but was strongly adviced NOT to take the system since it was not reliable. So I opted out of TPMS on my car EU#502

If you can reache the country propetys in the firmwere
Can you take the TPMS out

If its a 1.5 Roadster, take it since its a robust system. Otherwise pass if you can for that they changed it with an under-par quality setup. It will cost you $$$ in just resetting it over and over with Tesla's proprietary tool that they no longer sell to the consumer.
