Adventures in Lego building - my Tesla logo and my friend's 2/3 scale Supercharger

So I built a roughly 3 foot tall model of the Tesla Logo out of Lego and displayed it at a Lego show in Chicago last weekend. My friend Robert, coincidentally and entirely without my knowledge, built a 2/3 scale supercharger to display at the same show. They make for a very nice picture together.



And as a bonus, here's his supercharger displayed with my S85D.

The top of the T is attached with some clear bricks in two locations, about 2/3 of the way out on each bar. You can't see them because they blend into the background. As for piece count, for the T I'd estimate around 5000. For the Supercharger I have no idea, I don't remember asking the builder.

I can't speak for the supercharger, but for my logo I built it by printing out a large scale copy of the logo on a wide format plotter and and just duplicating it on the paper to that size. As for pieces, Probably 10,000-ish, and about 2-3 weeks work.
