Left side screen"blank"?

I'm having a problem with my car and was hoping for some help. The left part of my dashboard screen is "blank" - I always have on my screen the radio function, except when navigation is operating. Yesterday, the left side display went blank. I tried a hard reset - holding both wheel buttons down - when the dash screen came back up, the left side was still empty. Does anybody have a solution?
