As Roadsters are THE oldest Tesla's, as night follows day, they WILL need more repair/maintenance to keep them on the road.
Up to now only Tesla themselves can properly do this - even tho, with the 'right information' others may be just as well qualified and capable.
The 'right information' is the full workshop manuals, parts lists and service bulletins.
As in a Model S thread this IS available, but only for residents of Massachusetts (and at a fee).
Jack Richard, reviews these Tesla FULL workshop manuals on YouTube: (1:17 + > EVTV Friday Show - April 3, 2015 - YouTube )
I'd LOVE to see this.. as I would with any 'classic car' that needs to be kept running (think: 2, 5, 10, 15 years ahead)
