Regen Less Grabby?

I noticed a subtle decrease on the stopping with regen. I got used to one peddle driving and I have a pretty good idea when I need to let go of the accelerator to get my SR+ to stop at the stop sign. Recently I have to use my breaks more often because it won't stop fast enough.

I haven't changed my regen settings.

Anyone else noticed this?

What sw? I could swear that my regen isn't as strong either after updating to 2020.32. I thought I was imagining it, but maybe not...

Do you have full regen dots? As the temps begin to drop in fall, you will get less regen till the battery warms up.

Two things,

1. You are fully charged 95%
2. Check your settings to ensure you’re on Standard Regen.

in winter, it is terrible... basically no regen at all until batt warms up... have to unlearn one-pedal driving for months.

I’ve been wondering this too. Feels less grabby. I’m on 32.3 and charge to 80%. No Regen dots, set to standard. Ambient temps around 85F. Today I was out in town and had to use my brakes at every other light. Just needed light pressure on the brakes, but needed them.

Drive it in track mode, that adds an extra 10kw onto regen

Mine has had regen dots since the day I got it a year ago. They almost never go away unless the soc is below 40%. Compared to my LR RWD the SR+ has noticeably less regen.

1. no. I only ever charge to 90% and this loss of regen happens at all soc.

I've always had a couple of regen dots but regen always worked really well until now.

Yes, I have noticed this too and I thought I was nuts. It's summer, so no temp issues. I never adjusted the Regen with any of the updates, and I'm not at a high SOC. Something is definitely different. I actually have to use the brake pedal.

Definitely noticed here. Car fulled warmed up, less than 80% SoC. I think it started with last FW, or possibly one right before.

I agree. The car has had less regen for the past 2-3 weeks.
Have also seen regen dots when temperature was 32C (90F) and battery less than 80% SOC. Dots persisted for 20 minutes or more.
Something has changed.

I'm on 32.3 and I noticed a loss of regen today. I was out on the highway and ran up to 110 mph. Then I had to lift off the electric pedal, as I was catching up to an ambulance. I eventually had to touch the brakes, as I didn't seem to be slowing down very much. I checked and my regen was on Standard like always.

Tesla should give more options for regen, like 1-2-3-4-5 instead of just "Low" and "Standard". What's Standard to one person is Low to another.

...seriously though, I also notice regen less aggressive recently despite warm temps and 50%-70% SOC.
