No, just simple puddle foot lights and map lights. Do a search here on TMC, you'll find some who have added after market lighting.thanks i was hoping if they have the RGB led lights like other high end SUV's, They had introduced this in the new Model 3
Yup same here in NJ.very unlikely but lets hope so...waiting for my X 5 seater ordered on Sep 4
How much does an install like that cost if you don't mind me asking?Full color, any color can be chosen including running lights and even running lights based on music played.
Got it done by a guy in Los Angeles...Looks AMAZING!
600 for front and rear and I think 400 for just the frontHow much does an install like that cost if you don't mind me asking?
Can you point us to where you got it done? I need to pay your guy a visit.600 for front and rear and I think 400 for just the front
Might be happening OEM soon
I will gladly fork over some cash if they allow this to be retrofitted (since apparently the wiring harness is there already)
People have pulled off panels and identified preexisting wiring. There’s a YouTube video floating around that shows it.@snorlax - Let's hope that's indeed the case (with the wiring harness already being there) and can indeed be retrofitted. If that's possible, I'm getting in line to have it done. The implementation on the Model 3 Highland looks fantastic and I'd love to have that in my Model X.
How have you confirmed the data point about the wiring harness?
It definitely used to be present - don't know if it still is, though I saw someone with a 2023 model S post about the wiring still being there. The service manual even shows trim with the wiring from before they nixed the feature.@snorlax - Let's hope that's indeed the case (with the wiring harness already being there) and can indeed be retrofitted.
