My earlier comment about white interiors had a fair amount of black interior saltiness.

Tesla uses EPA calculations for the main UI page range estimate. Maybe the firmware update and this delay is related to that since EPA did change the range calculation used for advertised ratings.

In a reddit thread: luman17 reported a delivery date of 5/13 but it got delayed to 5/18 because of a firmware update for all M3Ps. I'd be pleasantly surprised if plzdelivercar gets his today.

I am firmly in the "don't make EVs sound like fart cars" camp. With that said, it's perfectly fine to have it as an option if it sells more cars. If Tesla wants to add more stuff that uses their speaker system, then please implement active road noise cancellation on the 3/Y platform.

Yeah, the pic from the front looks more ultra red. Looks like there might be something dark reflecting in the paint and when the camera is facing sunward on the rear shots it hurts the color saturation of the camera. It really perked me up though. I would have gone for the midnight cherry red...

It is hard to complain but we can bear down and do it. There's little about the badge that helps it visually tie it to rest of the car's styling. With the plaid badge, the red matched the tail lights, black to the trim, and the 'white' was metal which matched the tesla logo and metal reflectors...

I'm not a big fan of the Ludicrous badge on the back. Good to know it can be removed easily. :)

Yep. I was annoyed to see summer only as well. I budgeted for no tax incentive so I don't mind getting a 2nd set of wheels with winter tires. It's probably for the better since I can go down to 19s to slightly help offset the efficiency loss of winter.

Cash here but to half answer, yes, you have the option to hit some tax form checkboxes to transfer the tax credit to Tesla who then applies it to your balance at POS.

For US, yes. For China supplied M3Ps, totally plausible. German website leak has May 1 as the date orders can begin and many M3Ps have been spotted leaving Shanghai.

A couple Y quicksilvers were spotted at Fremont a couple months ago and a boatload were spotted by Tegtmeyer a week or so ago at Austin. It's possible.

They've also added accessories to the order page as well: roof rack, center console trays, and all-weather mats. I've seen many mentions that all-weather mats are a must. I'm just not sure if it's these mats in particular. Anyway, the order page has been spiffied up for a 3rd trim to be added...

Tesla just dropped Euro/China new Model 3 prices by ~$2k for both RWD and LR. No word (yet) on North America. $60k+ for M3P is looking less plausible.
