Hey guys I have a 2017 model X 100D. I am experiencing a single thump noise from front drive train area when accelerating after deceleration.
SB was recently performed by Tesla and they replace the left motor mount (Clevis) and the halfshafts. Also fore and aft lower control arms are new. I don’t notice a noise when turning or going over bumps. It only occurs one time upon the initial lurch, and only after decelerations (no thump on deceleration.)
Has anyone had this or has any ideas on what to investigate? I am attatching a video (ignore the braking noise in the beginning, thump comes shortly after and is captioned). This can be heard from inside and outside. Seems to be same volume from both left and right side, but hard to tell.
