Good idea. I’ll see if my range is good enough where it currently is, and if I need more range I’ll definitely move it.If you follow the wiring, there may be some electrical tape or a small black zip tie that is keeping it close to where you currently mounted your homekit module. I would get automotive double sided tape and mount it to the front where the oem homekit bracket would go so it's closer to the front bumper area for better transmitting.
I found a listing on eBay with a buy it now price of $200, made an offer for $180 and they accepted. Total for me ended up at just under $200.Pretty much cost of the HL module and your DiY time.

myQ will not work if you have homelink installed. It will be one or the other.Haha! Seriously? They finally allow DIY Homelink instalations just weeks before rendering them obsolete?
$179 for a 5 year subscription is some BMW-level douchebaggery tho.
Interesting, where did you get the information that one or the other will work?myQ will not work if you have homelink installed. It will be one or the other.
And yes, paying extra to open and close your garage door is a joke.
HomeLink should be $180 if MyQ can be had for the same (5 year subs).
Holiday update? what can we expect?
Closer following gaps don't make you go faster. You're still limited by the speed of the car in front of you, just dangerously close to them, instead of a safe distance back. Also, bigger gaps give you more options, in emergencies and general navigating slower/faster lanes. I'm with you on...teslamotorsclub.com
