2023 CF Installed

Finally got to swapping the pre 2023 CF dash I ordered. The 2023 clips are angled and the years before were straight. I just removed the actual CF dash piece from the housing and used plastic solder to secure to the housing. I also had to trim some of the metallic trim to make it fit but now it’s flush. Overall, not too tough and it took about 3 hours.

Does adding the screen block airflow?

It did but I put in an air director thing that came with the screen and it makes it a little better.

It’s a hanshow 9” screen. It does its job and looks stock. Only issue I have is with the speaker, which is really bad quality so my calls and pandora always sound like crap.

does that dash have the apple airplay?

i remember seeing one that has that but not sure which model had it.

Yes! Def has CarPlay, one of the biggest reasons I got this.

Steve, thanks for the reply. So the audio calls and pandora that comes through on the hansshow screen cannot be routed back to/through the main car audio system?

Exactly. I’m not the most savvy with this stuff so I can’t seem to figure it out.
