Inspiration

I use a 1up Bike Rack with a 2inch receiver Ecohitch. It's a bit low but generally fine. I use the air suspension for big curbs and in certain spots to keep it from scraping, but it's not a big deal. You get used to it.

When you guys got the upgrade done, did Tesla send you an estimate before you came in? I have an appointment for tomorrow but they haven’t provided an estimate. I’m concerned I’m going to drive all the way there to be told I can’t do the upgrade.

Has anyone been contacted by Tesla to do the upgrade after selecting the Infotainment Upgrade option in the service section of the Tesla app? I'm wondering if it would be faster to schedule an appointment and see what their response is when they process it prior to the scheduled date.

I’m having this issue on my car where the text for text messages is behind the black circle. Is anyone else without autopilot having this problem? Thoughts on how to report to Tesla?

Spotify on the MCU sounds significantly better than Slacker and Spotify over Bluetooth. Tesla also must of done some behind the scenes update to its audio driver a few months ago, because one of the later builds of V9 made everything sound much better overall. This is on a 2013.

Interesting. How do you know that there won’t be the theater?

I’m cautiously optimistic. The fireplace mode shows a video and people have hacked the MCU1 to play video files, so we know it’s capable of playing video. But I agree it seems like something they would leave out.

How does this video show Netflix and YouTube won’t work on MCU1? I understand the browser on MCU2 is chromium based, but the Netflix and YouTube apps aren’t accessed via the browser.

Ok well they did something. Totally different experience.

The web browser has been upgraded on my 2013 MCU1 with 16.1.1. It looks like it’s based on WebKit. Works great.

Is the new browser Chromium?

Did the ramp up or ramp down change (i.e., did it stay at a higher KW for longer than before)?

It was previously showing a max of 6 being available even if nobody was there. Now that it’s showing 8 being available I think it’s fixed.

App is now showing 8/8 are available so I assume everything is working now.

Since everyone in this thread seems familiar with the supercharger build out in this area, does anyone know if there’s been any progress on the chargers just south of Baltimore? Based on my driving patterns where I often drive east-west, a charger off 695, 100, or 32 would be extremely useful.

I think that makes sense. The equipment is on a busy street at the corner of an intersection.

I swung by after work today. There still isn’t a meter installed. Also, the yellow post and red sign about service locations are new. See attached pictures.

This is crazy

It was listed yesterday but was removed automatically today. I’m hoping this means it passed yesterday but the website isn’t updated yet. There’s up to a 72 hour delay in when this is updated.

The county’s website is showing the inspection yesterday was cancelled. There’s still an inspection scheduled for today so hopefully it happens.

This location isn’t in the city-proper. The address is Annapolis but it’s actually in unincorporated county. Honestly, I bet this would of gone faster if it was in the city.

Fingers crossed they pass today. Does anyone have a prediction how long until they power up after the inspection is done?
