I had the same issue with my 2018 Model S. Service ended up replacing the voice command button and that fixed the issue without updating software.

Is there a trick to purchasing the 3 cables required from Tesla? I've been to two different service centers in the SF Bay Area to purchase/ order and have been told by both that these specific part numbers are "restricted", and not available to the general public.

This is my understanding as well. But I’m looking hear opinions on which one is a better buy, considering what may (or may not) be coming in the next few months with regards to FSD.

It has FSD, which I believe required EAP, which required AP2

Is your opinion based on the fact that FSD will require AP3 hardware?

Considering both were at the same price point, which one would you choose?
