Just saw this. Harts Pass is, IDK, 15 miles each way from Mazama to the top. It's not a hard road, unless your on the Induction wheels. Which I was. Just when I wondered if I was being too cautious, I rounded a corner to find a Highlander on the road with a flat tire. He had lots of sidewall. So...

On another note, I too have gone ahead and ordered the Falken WP AT / Method 502 18" combo that seems to be proven by now. After doing some forest roads on the stock set up, including Harts Pass, it was clear that we needed a different solution. Looking forward to it.

No on an update, but yes on FSD. Makes me wonder if any of the FSD betas out there are on Tesla vision cars. Our Y is a March build, and has the FSD beta button.

Still waiting here as well. Are these all on Y's, or did anyone get this update on a 3 yet?

Pics won't be immediate. The Y is my wife's car, and she's out of town. Am I the only one on TMC that has one of these? I admittedly haven't looked on the X forums. There is some overhang, but the mat is pretty rigid so I don't notice it sinking. It probably deflects 1/2" down I'd guess, but...

The air gives the foam more support than the foam would have alone, so I haven't noticed a problem with 'sinkage'.

I haven't checked this thread in a bit... Looks like the TXY is a little narrower in the middle than the medium size, which might work better for a 3. But I don't have a 3.

Man, I have spent some time trying to find a solution to this myself. Continental actually makes a factory size AT tire for the 20" rim, but it is EU only and not DOT approved/available in the US.

Are there more details about these tires on the refresh? Asking for myself...

No problem. Next time you go flying over the Brünigpass and avoid tour buses, you will appreciate the sharper handling. 🚘

Each wheel comes with different tires. The Geminis have the Conti ProContact tires, the Inductions come with GY Eagle F1 5 tires. Looking at Tire Rack, they classify the Contis as Grand Touring tires, and the Goodyears as Ultra High Performance all seasons. Plus the larger wheel difference...

Which wheels are we talking about on the LR? Test driving both, I noticed a big difference on turn-in between the Gemini tire setup and the Induction setup.

Yeah, that megamat is bigger than a backpacking mat. But compared to some of the folding foam mats out there of similar thickness like- or this- compared to- I just don't get those foam beds...

Or you could add a Model X and have more places to use it. Just sayin...

It's really no different from the legacy guys offering different rebates or incentives every month. It just gets a little confusing since they do it in real time vs on a monthly calendar.

FWIW, I have a set of Tsportlines on my X. Tesla service will change complete wheelsets for me (example - winter wheelset change), but they will not mount or remove tires from aftermarket rims. Factory rims only. Just something to be aware of.

There is a Tesla specific megamat now, for the Y and X- Megamat Duo TXY So consider that problem solved.

Totally subjective. We have 2 Performance models now. I thought I'd end up ordering another one, but after driving both the LR and P back to back, I didn't feel like the difference was that great in real world driving. LR with 20" is a little sharper in transitions than the Geminis, but rides...

FWIW - A friend ordered a LR 5 seater with Geminis and Tow in MSM on 2/7. Delivered yesterday in Renton, with heated steering wheel and new center console. I haven't seen it yet, so don't know about the lights, but it was a quick delivery.

Plot twist - Tesla says to not install a GFCI circuit breaker on the Gen 3 Wall Connector- This made for some fun with my local city inspector...

Regarding the CNBC piece, Tim did seem pretty nervous or distracted during his latest Tesla bit. Of course, it's always hard to dance on camera.

Oh, and BTW, Tim the short guy on CNBC mentioned he wouldn't even consider pulling his short position unless we hit $320-325. So that's nice.
