70% is borderline clear, and may pass for clear if you have tint on your other windows. 50% is definitely noticeably on the front.

Most good quality PPF have a 10 year warranty, so no worries there. There isn't a particular order of doing things. You can do them in any order. Austin Detailing is great and a lot of people will recommend them. ProReflection is great too, but they only do PPF, no tint or vinyl work.

Heat rejection only slows down the rate that heat builds up when your car is parked under the sun, it does not stop it. Given 2 identical cars, one with tint and one without, both will reach the same internal temperature after a long enough time has passed.

You are going to want to cover the mirror trim as well, which is the hardest part. Here's another kit that covers both: Chrome Delete Kit fitting the 2017-2019 Tesla Model 3 | eBay Of course, if you do the cuts yourself, it's much cheaper. Or if you dip instead of vinyl, it's cheaper still.

It's definitely grey/black. No hints of brown/amber.

Look closely - are there any small debris inside the dots? If not, then it's normal, and will go away once the moisture evaporate in a couple of days. If there are tiny debris, it's called "trash" and will never go away. In the latter case, the shop did a bad job and need to redo the tint.

The PPF was put on after the install. This is because I had to be sure that the spoiler would stay on, which meant waiting for a few days to check for corner lift. Good thing I did, because this is the 2nd spoiler. Yes, it's XPEL.

The tech that installed my 2nd spoiler said they return the removed ones to the manufacturer and gets some credit for each returned spoiler. There's probably some kind of quality assurance agreement between Tesla and the manufacturer.

Good to know. I PPFed it primarily so it's glossy and matches all of my other glossy CF accessories. I didn't think the spoiler would need much protection, but good thing I did.

Difference between my first and second spoiler:

I polished off the ceramic coating at the trunk lid edge myself, since I had all of the paint correction equipment, before letting Tesla install the spoiler. But I'm sure you could ask your detailer to do it for you before the spoiler install.

That sounds bad. Do you have any pictures of the issue?

You can maybe heat up the general area a little. Heat helps to make the adhesive layer softer and more pliable, thus easier to remove. I forgot to mention also nylon fishing line as one of the tools (or dental floss if you are in a pinch).

3M automotive molding tape. It won't damage your paint. The techs use heat gun, nylon fishing line, alcohol wipes, and eraser wheels to remove any leftover residues.

The RPM Tesla one is also worth considering.

I'm starting to see P3s being delivered with the spoiler pre-installed. Hopefully that means supplies have finally caught up and folks who still haven't gotten them should be getting them soon.

Yes, got my 2nd spoiler, which fits better and is staying put. Going to keep this one I think.

My installer is doing mine for $60-80 with glossy PPF. I imagine matte PPF is a little more.

Matte PPF (Suntek or XPEL) would have been my next suggestion if you want it to be even more matte.

The OEM spoiler is already a matte finish. I'm trying to turn it into a glossy finish with glossy PPF lol.

Yes, it's not visible unless you get up extremely close like your photo. It's a non-issue for me. The adhesive does not extend all of way to the tip, so there will always be a small gap at the extreme tips.

I get the feeling that they are pretty much all like that, even the good installs.

I feel like the system in the Model 3 sounded better than the HK systems in recent BMWs as well the Bang and Olufsen system in my R8. But I'm not an audiophile, so there's that.

I thought the 3's sound system is rather pretty good. What don't you like about it?
