Thanks but I am aware of this site but I see no way to filter by version. I also doubt Tesla will give detail info like if the site has a v4 dispenser and differentiate if the site has v3 chargers behind the v4 dispensers.
Is there any site world wide that has v4 dispensers and v4 chargers? I have only seen v4 dispensers with v3 chargers so right now v4 only helps the car brands that do not place the charge port at the rear drivers side or the front passenger side. Not only are v4 dispensers taller and have a...
I live near Princeton and drive to my home in Sunderland VT often. I prefer a stop mid way so I often stop in New Paltz or Kingston to break up the trip. However a few days before the eclipse I went up to VT and of course the i87 superchargers were full. I did make it to Hudson NY charger...
I did show up with a cold battery because I was only driving for 10 minutes when I showed up. I just did not have enough time for preconditioning to do much. Also I had about 55% so I never received more then about 98kW. That could be the site derated but I am betting it was my battery temp...
I stopped here around Feb 17th. The Tesla nav did not make it an option but when I chose it manually the battery did precondition and the 4 most left spots were working fine.
There are some Level 2 ChargePoint (6 kW I think) spots like at the Village Garage Distiller and there is a Level 3 charger by Flo by the town office. I think that is 100kW. Typical CCS however I stopped a year ago here and could not get the charger working with my Model 3 and the CCS adapter...
I am sure its up to GMP to turn it on now. At most locations this is the slowest step. I hope VT and GMP is fast! Did anyone look at the cable holster to see if this is an magic dock?
The Y does get the $2000 rebate as well as no tax. However the NJ rebate is capped at 55k. This sadly include options like color. I just purchased a Y and with color, white seats and two hitch it was over 55k so no 2k off. Still no tax.
I visited VT this past weekend and used this SC twice. Looks like it is still throttled down as I never received more then 130 kW. The first time I visited our Model Y was at 13%.
I am heading up to Killington area on the 5th and plan to use this supercharger. May make a video. Also I had a new V3 system installed about 40 minutes away from my home and noticed for the first few weeks it only charge at 80 to 100 kW so it does seem they keep the juice down for some time...
Ski at Killington VT. They have about 30 level 2 chargers setup in the parking lots now. They have Tesla destination and Clipper Creek J1772. I have tested several and there is one or two at 6.6 kW and many at 11 kW.
I drove from Princeton NJ(was a nice day to drive) so I think I did about 40 miles to get there. I did not think to navigate to a Supercharger to get the battery warm since this v3 is not on the map yet but it was like 59 degrees and I drove about 45 minutes to get there so I can't imagine my...
If you check the Model 3 owners manual online you will see that of course the Maintenance section is very small. Below is what the manual says about brakes on page 162.
"Clean and lubricate brake calipers every year or 12,500 miles"
I am already at 19 months and 30k miles so I asked them to...
I went there yesterday for new tires. Seems electric torque has raised my aggressive driving level and lowered my tire life. I have just over 30k miles on my RWD Model 3 and the back tires were very smooth. I had 4 new ties installed and the brakes cleaned and lubed. I got there at 8:30 and...
I went there on the 23rd. Picked the charger farthest from Unos and only got 63 kW(32% SoC). I only stayed till I got my drink and sandwich. Guess they are still calibrating the site. At least I hope. There is a v2 site about 40 minutes north on route 18 in NJ that I never got over 70 kW.
I feel your pain. One month in I was careless driving into a lot and hit the curb! I was so angry at myself for days. Luckily I found a guy in my area with a cargo van that has a sanding and paint shop in the back. All he does is fix rims. He made the rim look perfect in about an hour. My...
Wawa has Superchargers? Any locations you know of? I prefer Wawa but of course go a bit north in NJ and they don't exist.
Kind of nuts we cant find a permit record for this yet. Guess 2018 is not happening.
I know Bridgewater is a large amoeba shaped thing. Any chance it will be in the new Quick-check on the Somerville Circle. I know Quick-Check has a supercharger up in Kingston NY. Guess that may not technically be Bridgewater.
My garage door opener is about 10 years old (genie 2024). The process that Tesla walks you through worked fine but the Tesla was never able to open or close the door. I had to add one step at the end. Once the Tesla steps were happy I just pushed the learn button on my opener again and...
Yeah Tesla really needs to fix this. Not sure if it is Tunein or Tesla but since Tunein on my phone has done this maybe twice the Model 3 does it almost every time.
I installed my Ecohitch this weekend. Not too bad but rather nerve wracking to pull your new car apart. I think Torklift needs to add some details to the process but in case anyone else is about to install here are a few points.
When you remove the only two tork bolts from behind the rear...
I have a genie 2024. When I went through the setup process for Homelink on my model 3 everything looked good but the car's Homelink could never open or close the garage door. After numerous retries I finally figured out an extra step to add to the Tesla setup that got it working. Once I finish...
My VIN was in the 26000s and I got it last week. I love every square inch!!! I did a trip from NJ to VT over the first weekend. It was amazing and supercharging was even fast and easier then I ever imagined. So yeah relax and enjoy.
So Tesla failed to deliver. They called 90 minutes before my delivery to say my car still needs a new firmware update and that must be completed before delivery. Sadly I was almost to the dealer (45 minutes away) before I noticed the message. Now I am hoping to get it Tomorrow or Monday :(
Mine came out of nowhere as well. I did have all the info that Tesla wanted uploaded as quick as I could. I mean the info like your license, insurance and payment method like what bank you are using if you are not paying cash or using Tesla to finance. I also received an email from my Tesla...
I went with my local credit union. My wife has been a member since she was in high school. Rates seem to be going up so I went with a short loan. I am doing 36 months and got 2.16% When I went to 48 months they wanted 3.69%. I tried lending tree and got quotes from several banks at higher...
Well Tesla called and I am set to get my car this Thursday (July 12th). This came out of no where! I had a delivery window of Sep-Nov but looks like July is it. I have a VIN and already paid my up front cash. Just got to get my financing with my credit union squared away. So in short if you...
I find it a bad show by Tesla to not make an official statement that they hit 200k in June or July. Basically people who received their invite to configure the last week in June do not know if they will have the full $7500 or $3750 as most received a delivery window of Sep -Nov.
