I did that as well. As an FYI, I read up on the brake lib vs anti seize debate. Apparently shouldn’t use anti-seize on anything that does not have a thread so I recommend sticking to just some sort of Ceramic Brake lub for the pin and brake pad. 😀

Thanks for everyone’s comments. Ended up cutting the pin with a multi-tool. Then I used BP blaster spray to help with the rust build up on the right side of the pin. A lot of banging back and forth, applying BP blaster, DW40 and a 4lb hammer, was able to get the thing loose and out. Took...

I read on another forum there's something called HVAC plenum that was replaced at some service centres for earlier model. My model falls in the earlier model b/c it was a May 2018 production and vin in the 20k. I'm going to contact service centre to inquire.

yes, it happened to me. My filtered was replace last year around the same time. I wonder if the filter needs to be replaced again or if there is a defect in the AC unit?

the needle puncture is so small i don't think it has any long term affects to the protection of the film. I've had mine on for 2+ years and haven't seen any impact.

Agreed. Think of Ceramic as a glass layer like a car wax to help with dirt sticking, glossing, and hydrophobic properties. Doesn't make sense to put the car wax before the PPF. :)

same with me. I changed my appointment as I don’t think it’s a good idea to leave home right now. Also I would think the tech would also appreciate not going in for service at this time so Tesla can close their service centre for staff safety.

how about if you have family or friend pick it up for you at Calgary service centre and they mail it to you. The only need to verify your account through the Tesla app.

is your sentry mode on? If it is, it does lose some % loss over a period. For example, I lose anywhere form 2-3% battery (not sure what that converts to in miles or km) while i'm at work with sentry mode activated.

The only thing with that website is it's a safety recall. So the question is can battery range lost be consider safety issue for consumers. If not, I don't think Tesla would put it on there or register.

I slid the battery bar down and back to 90% stop and today, it charged to 90%. Seems like this fixed the issue. Many thanks for your helpful insight!

Is there anyway to re-calibrate? What I read from the other threads is to discharge to 5% and fully charge to 100%.

Correct. Instead of stopping at 90%, it stops at 87%
