What's the fix for the Panoramic roof leak

Don't get me started...I've been to the SC four times in less than 2 years for a leaky roof. The first two times they claimed it was just the drains being clogged and when they cleaned and tested them they had no issues, but it still happened again. The third time they adjusted the pano closure...

Model S CPO Unusually Low Inventory

Also, just noticed that some (not all) of the used listings on the Tesla site have 'actual' photos of the vehicle, this is new to me!

Model S CPO Unusually Low Inventory

I don't know if we can qualify it as a 'surge' but I think at the time of these late June posts, I recall seeing around 40ish total used Model S on ev-cpo....looking this morning there are 133 out there now, so definitely an increase here in July. Obviously impossible to know if this was...

2016 Model S backup camera a little blurry

I've noticed this recently as well on my S - I can't really pinpoint exactly when it started to know if it is software release related or just random camera issue, but it has been noticeable for 2-3 weeks. I have an unrelated service appointment scheduled for Monday so I will ask them to look...

    Tesla Model S Headlight

Welcome to the forum! Unfortunately I do....I had an incident with a coyote a couple years ago and all the mounting brackets were broken to the headlights, so they had to be completely replaced. I can try to look it up to get an exact figure (based on the insurance paperwork) but they were...

    P85DL+ Loaded Pristine

So I have considered upgrading from my 85D and would love the P85D, especially with Ludicrous. And I hear from fans of the + suspension it is a true performance car, but is definitely more stiff. Anyone have thoughts on how it would compare to my 85D on coils (from the tight suspension...

Costco Unable To Get X Tires/how Many Miles A Set

I just used tirerack.com as well for the first time - good prices on 21" tires for the MS. I reached out to a mom & pop tire store and asked if I had tires and rims if they would mount them for me and they were happy to do so, I think it was $35-40 fee to mount/balance each. Tires were shipped...

Hello from (not so sunny) Scotland

Hello and welcome! Now the hard part begins - the waiting!!:) I will be making my 2nd trip to Scotland with my family this summer (first time was at age 18), looking forward to seeing the beautiful country again!

Supercharger - Nashville / Brentwood, TN (SC)

I was there twice last summer passing through on a road trip, once during the day and once at night, both times it was VERY crowded due to it being at the service center. During the day I had to wait for a tech to move a vehicle out of the way so I could use a stall. But it does have a nice...

    New to Tesla... Question

Welcome to the forum! We may need a little clarification on what information you are seeking. If you are buying a used (CPO) model from Tesla directly, all the details should be available on their website (or other great third party sites like www.ev-cpo.com). If you are looking at a...

Can Anyone Help Me Make a Car Show "Spec Sheet" for My P85D?

I have a Word doc that I pieced together with some versions found here and elsewhere online, if you want to PM me with your email I can send it over to you. Mine is for an 85D, so you might have a few things to tweak, but most is general info. Like you, I was in my first car show last year...

How to ID superchargers that requires parking fee?

If you haven't already, check out Plugshare (online or app). It shows not only all the Tesla Superchargers, but any available chargers of any level/kind, so in case you are in a pinch, or are looking for a hotel with a destination charger it has that data as well. And the best thing is that it...

Buying CPO Tesla 85D vs 90

Hi Alvin, welcome to the forum! I have an 85D and love it, gives me plenty of power and performance, but I do live in the Midwest where the all wheel drive can be useful in the winter. You are correct that some of the early 90 batteries had some degradation issues, but there were several...

    A Tesla Nerd's Road Trip

Awesome! Thanks for sharing, and for the great write-up and pics! I've done two 1500+ mile trips in mine, and one 500+ mile trip, and all of them were fantastic. Now I wish I had done as good a job as you did documenting the Tesla centric parts of the journey, but was just so happy and...

In-car browser to get updated to Chromium!!

Anyone purchase this 'CPO' P85DL in the last 24 hours?

I believe anything older than 2015 now only gets the 2 year / 100k total mile warranty regardless of mileage. If it is 2015 or newer, the +/- 50k rule still applies.

Anyone purchase this 'CPO' P85DL in the last 24 hours?

I first saw it on the badge, but it is confirmed on the shots of the instrument cluster with the underline. I havent seen very many of these come through the cpo/used channel.

Anyone purchase this 'CPO' P85DL in the last 24 hours?

It had every option listed except Premium Interior, and no rear seats. Mileage was around 32k, but being a 2014 it only got the 2yr/100k warranty (not the 4 year).

Looking to Sell my 2016 Model X 90D

Welcome! You can certainly post it on this site for sale - there is a forum section "Teslas for sale" that you can browse to get ideas. Typically the more detail you can include the better (price, options, condition etc), and of course pictures. Good luck!

Anyone purchase this 'CPO' P85DL in the last 24 hours?

I actually bought my first one under the previous CPO program (when it really was 'CPO'). I didn't get to drive it, or even get the 'quality' pics that are out there under today's program - and I couldn't be happier. I think with the expansive warranty coverage - even if you only get the 2...

Anyone purchase this 'CPO' P85DL in the last 24 hours?

#P68066 If so - congrats!! Had my eye on this one, and was really deliberating pulling the trigger on the upgrade from the 85D to the P85D - and this one even had Ludicrous! I kept watching it drop, got all the way down to $49k....I should have known. 2014 Tesla Model S 5YJSA1H27EFP68066 |...

  26. Sprandt23

    (Not mine) CPO 2014 S 85 with 7 Miles ?!

How is that even possible? I would think just moving it around a lot for 4-5 years would get more miles than that. You would also have to worry about what state of charge it was at for how long, with not being driven at all. Will be very interesting to see what you hear back.

    Howdy from Texas!

+1 for going to go get it and driving back - I picked my CPO up in Phoenix as well, and drove it back...to St. Louis! Best way to get acquainted with the car - you will love it. Congrats and welcome aboard!

Love to hear your opinions about this p85d vs 90d.

Congrats and welcome! Now your biggest problem will be finding yourself driving it all the time! Bought my CPO in Oct '17, and am about to use up my 50k warranty miles this spring. But it's worth it!! :D

    Autopark and Autopilot 1 hardware

I can confirm that AP1 does have the Autopark functionality included, and have used it many times on my own S. I don't know how it compares to AP2 as far as consistency, as I haven't used that feature on any of the AP2 loaners I have had over the years - someone else may be able to speak on...

Didn't order yet...which configurations you waiting for? (Poll)

Some of those unfulfilled reservations may not be waiting on a specific configuration, but it's more about timing. I was a day 1 reservation, but with the rollout taking so long, I opted for a CPO S back in 2017. Now just waiting for the timing to be right for my wife to be ready for a new car...

    Too Much Romance

I don't know why, but the imagery of this is really making me laugh! Interesting occurance this morning...

So I was getting ready to leave the house this morning, went to the garage to unplug, and did so as I normally would. Then as I hung the cable back up I realized, wait, I don't have a fob in my pocket. I knew this specifically because I just returned from vacation last night and had put both...

Am I looking at this wrong?

Hmm...I was not thinking of it that way. I was definitely of the impression that it impacted the battery efficiency, given that my lifetime usage is slightly over 300 Wh/mi - and almost all day yesterday when we were in single digit temps I was barely able to get below 500 Wh/mi. Does that not...

Am I looking at this wrong?

That makes sense, so 43.7 was what I actually 'used,' but more was definitely 'lost' during the day...surprises me that it might be up to 10-15kW in a given day - I feel like I would only notice a 3-5% drop, even with pre-heating during the day not plugged in. I will take some notes on it over...

Am I looking at this wrong?

So we have hit a good cold snap here in the Midwest, and I'm readily aware that it has significant impact on battery efficiency and degradation. However it has had me keeping a close eye on my usage the last couple weeks, and I want sure if I was looking at this correctly. I started the day by...

    2015 85D from a dealer

I have a 2015 85D as well, love the car - but I have never had any rattle issues (knock on wood!), and I also have the standard suspension. Not sure if others have experienced this, but hopefully the service center could address it if you do purchase. Just as an aside, you might check out...

WTT: Silver 21" turbines for grey 21" turbines

If you don't have any takers, you could always have them powder coated grey. I had mine redone when I bought them and was able to get it done for just under $400 for the 4 wheels (here in the Midwest). Just a thought.

Please, please, please Tesla - could you add intermittent wipers?

Ok, just following up here, but I can't find the Auto wiper setting anywhere....I feel like I have been in every tab/menu, but do not see it. Am I blind or just looking in the wrong place?

P85D with four year warranty goes sub $50K

I've been following them off and on this winter as well, and there are some pretty good looking deals out there at the moment - but like you, I wonder what condition they are in. I have about 15k miles left on my warranty, so I was wondering if it would make sense to look at a move this year...

Considering buying a CPO and driving it home 800 miles

I did the same thing - purchased my CPO in Phoenix and drove 1500 miles back to St. Louis. First time I had driven a Tesla (ridden in a few prior, but never drove). It was an amazing journey, and really got to know the car and solidified my love for it. Of course, you will want to do plenty...

I've done s few long trips in my S 85D, including the day I bought it CPO in Phoenix and drove it back to St Louis, couldn't agree more with what everyone has said. 47. Sprandt23

Please, please, please Tesla - could you add intermittent wipers?

I e had the same issue with my S (AP1) that anytime I turn them on after about 2 or 3 passes, they always go to high speed, even in a light drizzle. I will definitely try turning off auto and see if that makes a difference! I do agree with @jboy210 the auto high beams are great.
  48. Sprandt23

    Literal ICEing??

I agree, I had zero trouble yesterday in places where many others were stuck or spinning out...took it nice and slow and the dual motor traction control was there for me! It was funny though, when I pulled into the garage (after the 4 hour 18 mile journey) there was enough snow I could see the...
