Those do appear to be standard v4 post crates. Will be interesting to see if perhaps they swap out Tesla supercharger skins for a custom Sheetz branded post skins onsite. Should be easy to do if called for.

A little unusual to see this happen like this as an apparent afterthought. It's usually part of a site plan and all done during the original build routinely. I was looking at previous site photos and I think I only saw 11 posts in each image that I could clearly count.

The build itself took the usual amount of time for the contractor. The issue specific to this site was the utility dragging their feet for many months on doing the work to install pole(s) to bring the power to an agreed upon site where the contractor can then tie their conduits into. The work...

It’s possible it could get MagicDock - I think that has typically been retrofitted by Tesla for most sites that have it.

Stopped by today on my way through the area. The transformer and meter are live. An initial asphalt coat has been put down the center of the lot but not in front of the superchargers or parking spaces. Definitely more finish work needed around the superchargers but it should be quick.

Permits approved for this project on May 10th, 2024. Hopefully this project will go forward once the dust settles. I assume this project is ready to start once given the go-ahead by Tesla and the contractor can schedule it.

In my conversation with the Tesla Charging team members while at Lawrence, MA finishing things up there yesterday they indicated they were headed up to Lincoln, NH to commission the expansion this coming week (5/6-10). It will be great to see this one done!

Was dark upon arrival as some final work was performed. Up five minutes later. Had a short but sincere conversation with a member of the crew. Thanked them profusely for what they do on behalf of the community.

They won't have a schedule for Lowell. The site isn't done - it's between the contractor and utility to both finish - then Tesla gets back involved.

For some time now you can release the MagicDock CCS adapter by pressing and holding the button on the charge handle until you hear a click of it being released. Much easier than going into the app and releasing it by selecting the current pedestal.

Salem was commissioned today much, I think, to everyone's surprise. So the clear answer is yes. Lowell still needs work from the contractor to connect where they stopped their primary trench to wherever National Grid terminates their line work on a new pole. Lots of uncertainty still there...

I've never had clarity on if the team that does maintenance is one-in-the-same with those that do commissioning. It's logical they would be the same, but logic does not always apply.
