    software upgrade to 2023.44.30.**?

I have noticed that my odometer does not run as normal, it "freezes" and then jumps 6km to catch up to the trip meter...runs great for a couple of kms then "freezes" again only to jump back up in a few kms. 2016 90D with AP1

    Wipers too fast

I find the wipers on the slow intermittent setting is too fast, very light rain ramps the wiper speed to full fast , where a swipe every 10 seconds would be fine. Is there anywhere to adjust the sensitivity ? Mike

    Aotopilot speed restrictions

This is my point of interest. Some say BS to this event because the car would be restricted to 10km above the limit as it is a newer car, so it would not be able to go 150kph in Autopilot.

    Aotopilot speed restrictions

I have AP1 on my 16 90D S, on regular 2 lane roads the AP will limit the speed to 10km over the posted speed, on divided highways there is no such limit. I can drive in AP at 140km (85mph) if I wish. A friend of mine with a new 3 AP/FSD says his car on AP is always limited to the 10km over the...

    WTB Gen 1 cable

I got the cable today, wicked fast shipping. The breaker at my cabin is 40a, I have no plan to upgrade it to 50a or even 100a ( my car has duel chargers) so charging at 32a is just fine compared to the 0a i had yesterday :) Mike

    New 2020 Model S

The battery's enjoy 20%-80% . 90% is creeping in on full charge numbers. If you are planning long trips, charge to 90%-100% and drive off as soon as you can when it has reached max charge, don't let a 100% battery sit at full charge for long, this causes degradation Mike

Sticking brakes after a car wash

Most cars have a locking pin in the transmission for 'park" , these have a dedicated brake caliper set to hold the rear wheels for "park". Wet brakes set over night, will really stick in the morning. The fix?? ... do a few braking stops ( not regen) on the way home from the car wash. Mike

    70.6Kw/H from a 90D

I have a 90Kwh battery that came with 81.8kwh of usable capacity ..... now it looks like it only has 70.6kwh of usable capacity . 11.2 Kwh seem to be lost over the last 3 years, that is what I want to see if it is normal or a bit extreme

    70.6Kw/H from a 90D

I just did a day trip to see some ice bergs ( had a great day) started the day at 99% drove on secondary roads ( 80km limits) after 357.9km at 188wh/km ( very close to EPA rated of 185) I had 4% remaining and 67.1Kw/h used. That would mean 100% would be 70.63 Kw/h usable .... a ways away from...

    Compatible lug nut?

When ever a wheel is removed in my province, there is a warning sticker attached to the steering wheel to re torque the lug nuts after 100 miles (150km) Folks can lose the entire wheel for not re torquing the nuts. It happens often. You are lucky it was only 1 lug nut. Take out a torque wrench...

    Thermal Sun Shades

I'm finding on long trips, on really cold days (-20*c), it is hard to keep the interior warm and comfy. My Trip and Range math does not work.

The 50* , the pre-heating and a cooled battery sitting at 50* can easily add up to 16 miles. As the battery pack heats up with driving, you may get a few miles back. Can you plug the car in at night? A plugged in Tesla is a happy Tesla. I keep mine between 70% and 85%, Mike
