I think as time progresses and EV's become more common, people will broadly start to recognise the true value and rareity of free SC. No one will ever offer this again. I think the free SC, will def add to resale value in the future - just not yet
Hi
I'm moving house this month and would like to sell these rims before doing so. These Original Tesla rims will fit any standard model S and make it look and feel like a Performance model. Rims are good. Tyres have some life in them, but should be replaced soon. This is a genuine sale. no...
Ok, so using the 'rated' setting as it's the only constant really that I know of for comparison
100% Rated capacity in 2016 = 502 klm (312 miles) - not sure what the odometer was then
100% Rated Capacity in 2023 = 447 klm (277 miles) - 204, 000 klms (126,000 miles)
I predominantly used at home...
My 2015 P90PL, has 204,000 klms (126,000 miles) on V1 battery. It's never failed.
You've prompted me to do 100% charge and check 'rated range'.
Will share when I get result.
Hi, I've changed the rims on my MS. These are the original Turbines. Good condition priced to sell quickly - I've only got a small garage and need the space.
Please PM me if you're interested. - Thanks
It's true these cars don't seem to age. My 2015 P90D still bring a smile to my face. I too will drive for 'no apparent reason' into the country areas- simply for the enjoyment: free supercharging adds to that
Same issue here in OZ. After upgrading to MCU2, it loses connectivity for several minutes. When connected it's great. Definitely not a signal strength issue. Many MCU upgraders in Australian are suffering the same issues. I reported it to Tesla Service who advised it's a software issue and they...
Also keep in mind that the Supercharger network is expanding northwards too. Proposed installations - (this year and early next) include "Bundaberg" (which I expect will actually in Childers and also a site in Rockhampton.
This will decrease your travel time - not just with charger speed, but...
I reported the same issue taking minutes to reconnect (MCU 1 - upgraded to MCU2) to Telsa, in May. After a few days I was notified the issue will be fixed via a software upgrade. It did feel like I was being bumped off.
It also seems to be taking a very long time to correct and problem only...
Hi sorry for delayed response. I haven't installed dash cam. But have upgraded to MCU2, which is just fantastic. Make the car feel like new again. Very quick rendering and instantaneous response from spotify, netflix etc.
When mine was upgrade from P90D to P90DL, they had to change out the fuses and some other parts to facilitate the Ludicrous upgrade. It wasn't an over the air update.
I previously had shuddering under hard acceleration in the front of the 2015 MS (P90DL/ 147, 000 klms) and the front drive was replaced. Now it has occurred again, at 147K klms. However, I'm now informed by Tesla Service (Brisbane Australia) that drive line warranty only covers, "the high...
Cannot summons. I've been getting this ever since I upgraded to MCU2 - which also coincided the same day with 2020.48.30 update.
One of these must be responsible for this. anyone had similar, after one OR the other.
Cheers

I had the "Centre Screen Storage Degraded" message a few weeks ago. I booked it in to Brisbane Service, then did a lot of reading and research of others' experiences, replacing EMMC with 64GB board and with new MCU1. By the time I delivered it to service, I decided even if they replaced the...
That is terrible! I don't blame you for returning. I can image how p*sed off I would be if my delivery was like that.
I hope you''ll get a second chance, cause they really are a great car.
My rationale was that, if MCU1 needs to be replaced under warranty it would cost Tesla $x. So perhaps they may charge me MCU2 - $x.
Probably not, and like I said earlier, I'm going ahead with it anyway ($4,000 AUD) - I'll ask though.
Thanks MP3Mike and Akikiki.
Maybe I'll be offered a discount on MCU2? - I'm going ahead in any case - plan to keep car for another 5 years, so I'm future proofing.
2015 MS, MCU1/AP1, P90D
So, I downloaded 2020.48.12.1 and now have this message? Coincidently, I'm booked into to have upgrade to MCU2 in a few days.
Does this message mean MCU1 is now maxed out - faulty?

Also, set your 'Easy Entry' seat position such that the seat is further to the rear of the car. This avoids abrasion of bolster and seat in general when entering and exiting the vehicle.
I've searched this can't find an answer, awaiting Tesla response.
I'm about to upgrade MCU1 to MCU2, on 2015 MS. Only has review camera, no sentry mode. Does anyone know if this upgrade will allow recorded of review camera?
I've had the same thing on several occasions. - 2015 P90D. Reported to SC, could find no fault. I am confident it's the AC.
Suggest putting your AC on 'auto' or fresh air occassionally.
I usually leave it on recycled air all the time, after a while the smell returns - so I change to 'fresh...
The Tesla Owners club of Australia tweeted directly with Elon - he made the change within days. If Canada has such a group, now would be the time to do it. Strike while the iron is hot. Good Luck.
I have the 'classic'? pre-refresh. At first I couldn't warm to the new front, but now I really like it and may change it out at some stage. The rear on the 'classic' I think is more aggressive looking - I prefer that look, so I hope to combine both with an upgraded fascia.
The openness of the...
I'm a committed petrol head - decades of V8 only for me including Ferrari., corvette camaro. Paid a small fortune many times for good sounding exhausts etc. I've had a P90D now for 4.5 years - the best car I've ever had - just in respect to performance versus cost. While the MS is a bit heavy in...
Well I'm not sure why but my V1, so holding out very well with minor deg - 2105 AP1. I like the P90D and I would buy a second hand one, as long as I had a good check of the battery - ie range. I think they are very good value atm. Of course if you can afford the extra, I'd recommend a P100D -...
Me: Yes, it's seriously fast - over 750BHP
Him: It's not real horsepower
Me: Yeah it is, like 560 Kilowatts
Him: I don't think it works like that, petrol car make real horse power
Me:.....I think only horses do that!
Yep, I had the same response from Tesla service here in Brisbane Australia. By 2015 AP1 P90 D has had reasonable functionality of voice commands but after the latest update - nothing! After several reboots et cetera I rang the service centre and they said it was an issue with the voice command...
