Force closing the app and starting it again usually fixes my phone key issue. If it gets worse delete your phone keys and BT devices and pair again.
We also had an issue where we couldn’t hear callers and that was fixed by changing the BT profile for the Tesla in the iOS settings to Phone.
What’s the offset on the wheels? You could run a 4-5mm spacer and the centerbore won’t matter. Just an option but make sure you have 7-8 turns on the lug nuts to be safe.
I had a Honda Fit EV in 2013. What a fun little 80-mile range car but Honda wouldn’t let me keep it. I put 62k miles on it over 5 years and then the lease ended.
Plenty of room. This is the 368mm kit from Mountain Pass Performance. The caliper is the ST Trophy so there might be more clearance and you don’t need to remove the caliper for pads swaps.
Anyone looking for a used set of Advan V601’s? I bought these last May and took them off in March. Measured tread depth is 5-6/32nds.
Never been damaged or patched I’m just running AS4’s now and need to clear the garage.
$500 OBO and no shipping please.
How far underground is it? A trick may be to config your mobile hotspot SSID and password to match your home network. Turn on the hotspot and see if something connects. Then try remote start.
I’ve never heard any rubbing on this car at the track bouncing over curbs or on the street. The only odd sounds are my carbon side skirts scraping on BIG compressions since they hang down about 1/4” lower than stock right in front of the back wheels.
This is with completely stock with thin...
Heads up there are two designs of aero wheels if you’re running without the covers. I have a 2018 wheel boxed up but shipping from 92886 might not be worth it.
I checked my vids again and this is the best I could get. I don’t recall being worried about the wheel itself since these are only 9.5” wide.
LMK if you need more angles I’ll be swapping wheels in the next couple weeks for Tesla Corsa.
Here’s some pics with and without a 3mm spacer on my P3. The wheel spins without the spacer but I think it’s too close. Tires are 275/40/18 Nexen SUR4G which run pretty wide. Apex wheels are awesome because you can run the oem lug nuts and they’re track proven. I just love how the EC-7’s...
This sounds like an amazing adventure! Do you already have a 32-60amp circuit to charge the car at home and at your furthest destination? Ideally you want two Tesla Wall Connectors and two 60amp circuits so you can add miles back at 40 or so miles per hour.
If I tell my wife about this post...
Have any of the shops had a pole jack to put horizontally and press on two wheels at once? I don’t know if there is enough clearance against the bottom of the car to spin the jack but just another idea.
We’re all rooting for you man!
Yikes I’ve seen videos of guys using a grinder to cut the spokes off the wheels before. Then you’ll have room to cut a slot into the wheel hub and pry it open radially.
There’s not enough room with the wheel on to remove the 3 18mm wheel bearing bolts I don’t think.
My 2020 Model 3 takes forever to wake up and goes days without connecting sometimes. Meanwhile my wife’s Model Y wakes up with within seconds reliably.
I hope you slept on it and are out enjoying your beautiful new car. Life is too short to bring this type of drama onto yourself. My late stepfather managed to find drama everywhere he went so don’t be like that.
Doing some maintenance and found this hitchhiker inside my rear rotor. I guess this is downside or not running heatshields? I’ll add this to my weight reduction count 😂
eBay BLE sensors for $185 shipped fast and worked perfectly so don’t be scared.
This is what I bought for our MY:

I’m seeing an average of 323wh/mile with 275/40/18 Advan Apex on 18x10 TE37SL’s. With the OEM 20’s I was at 330 so it’s about the same. At Buttonwillow the average on the day was 660 on sticky tires 😂
These are MOMO Heritage 6 18x8.5 +28 on 255/55/18 Falkens. Love the ride and the real-deal MPP lift kit (don’t do knockoffs) and camber arms arrived too.
I would think you can tell not only by where the bleed nipple is (top) but look at the piston sizes. The larger piston should be on the trailing/top side I’m guessing.
At least you figured it out before installing!
It looks like it’s fun to drive but not enough trunk space and no frunk space is a downside for me. More competition is good guys!
I love how it shoots out of corners:
