All vehicles, and I’m assuming Teslas as well, are shipped in a service mode, or with fuses removed in order to prevent the batteries from draining during transit. I would bet that’s all this is. Part of the pdi would to take it out of transit mode and update anything needed.

Could have been damaged during shipment as well. This sucks, but at least they caught it early and you didn’t find it at delivery. This way the process should be much faster. I’d also rather have a new car than some BodyShop hack job.

You would need new wheels. The car only cares about the height of the tires. Width doesn’t mean anything to the computers.

Launch date was 4/23. I haven’t seen any cases of same order times with large Edd gaps. Ordering a week apart with a new model release is a massive difference and I would expect EDD to be a month apart. Add a few weeks between coasts and voila.

If 2 cars are built at the same time, but 1 has to get shipped across the country. The one going to Boston will obviously have a 2 week later EDD. Isn’t this obvious? I can’t figure out how this is even a discussion.
