10-4 on the "tactically" part! I see it a lot like the live traffic information you get - if you see stopped traffic in 30 miles (or a storm crossing the freeway in 30 miles) now might be a good time to find a charger, stretch your legs, get a bite to eat - and hopefully you'll miss all the drama.

I assume it would look just like the nav maps now but with optional weather layers you can turn on/off.

Dear Elon, Please work to include weather radar (and other conditions) as an overlay on the navigation maps since weather impacts Tesla performance. I pay for the data plan and this data could easily be included. Thanks, Chris

Is the button (or lack of clear instructions to NOT use the not-button) not part of the functionality? Maybe I'm just old. My first car had an AM radio with buttons you pull to set as pre-sets... so... yeah.

But it literally says at one point to "double tap" that icon to send/re-try or something. In the screenshot in my original post it even says "Press to reply". It's a button on the screen, my friend!

Apologies if I missed it... both days I drove the same: speed limit or speed limit +5 (otherwise people will run you off the road). So max speed both days was 75 mph. I drive like grandpa and shake my fist at the rest of the world for driving like FREAKING IDIOTS out there.

Took my first road trip in my 2024 Tesla Model Y LR DM and for the most part it was FANTASTIC. The drive from Richmond, VA to Houston, TX was LONG and required several stops to charge. The good news is that EVERY ONE of the SuperChargers I encountered worked perfectly - even the ones along I-10...

Ideally the best place to put one, for real, on the west side of Richmond is that 288/60 exit on the west side of that interchange. Plenty of gas stations or shopping parking lots to put them in.

Please feel free to suggest better locations (using the link Tdreamer provided). I could literally put in 30 gas stations on the west side of Richmond but I'm sure Tesla doesn't want that kind of feedback from me.
