haha sorry for not alerting about it. And I played it 2x faster since he spoke too slow.

Sentry events but no footage? Without buying an external SSD

Not sure about the Sentry mode malfunction, but if you want to check out recent video footage, I followed the instruction of below video and it worked,

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

If they are indeed removing all inventory discounts, bet they will offer low APR. Just trying all sort of ways to make different people taking the bait, until he has no other ways but to reduce price.

    2024 MY "Price Adjustment" Math

I bought a 10% off red LR at the end of March with Feb manufacture date. There were some 2023 inventory in March, with deeper discounts than 2024 inventory but very few available.

    Model Y Nitpick Thread

My family had a 3 and it had a bumpy ride. Test drove the Y and it felt better so I was impressed. Got my Y finally and the feeling of bumpy ride came back. End up being a little better than 3 but not a whole lot better.

Supercharger - El Monte, CA (under construction Nov 2023, V3 stalls)

Appreciate the insight, do you know if they have a timeline for the installation?

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

Pulled my trigger tonight for a red LR with 9% off. I am a current owner and ordered via app but did not see the color upgrade reduction on the order agreement. Anyone had the experience whether it would be reduced at the end, just not showing on the app order agreement?
  8. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

No inside knowledge whatsoever but per my observation (at LA) the red inventory went pretty quickly, so Tesla raised the price after the first day of price cuts. IMO unlikely to drop again unless they feel the need to clean up its red inventory. For white, it never had the same discounts as...

Thanks for the advice, would it be able to apply to a different color too?

First time in a while Tesla did not update inventory pricing overnight, hoping something is brewing....

Ordering before the end of the quarter

To clarify, do you mean the Tesla advisor told you to hold off purchase since there will be a $2k discount within 48 hours? Do you personally know this advisor or just formal discussion? Is it just for MYP or would apply to other trims too? No inside knowledge, but my observation is that there...

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

LA 10% on Grey/Black, 7-8% Red, 4-7% White. Grey and Black clearly not selling, think they should offer more discounts.
  13. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

Oh no wonder, didn't catch that. Yes saw a MSM with 13% too, that one was easy to figure haha.
  14. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

True so they offer the best discount too, just found this with 13% off (+ color upgrade). Not sure of the area though, was searched without zip code.
  15. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

I believe so too, no way they are doing this for just a day. It isn't like they only have 10 cars in their lots. They would do it every day, the pressure kicks in for the "missed out" buyers for the rest of the day and force them to take the less discounted inventory.
  16. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

How was the price? my area is back to 6-7% so kind of a bummer.
  17. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

True, I don't know how the inventory counts actually work, they could be far from delivering and are for April sale. I could be making my move soon too, just trying to see if non-grey colors would also have the 10% off.
  18. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

And he is right about cars coming in too, inventory just made another jump today to the highest level historically, notice all of the 18th -23th of the end of quarter there would be a jump, but this level of increase? I am hoping for more discounts coming, fingers crossed.
  19. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

For my area, only grey has 10% and others stay at 6-9% off (white is 3-5%). I agree grey should be cheaper than others with the free color upgrade but I am holding off to see if other colors will drop to 10% off or more.
  20. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

How's everyone's "refresh" day going? Understandably the red trims seems to be the most popular in my area, hopefully they have enough time to replenish some in the next few days when things getting more serious... 😁
  21. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

Interestingly last Q2 they prioritized moving white and that's when my family got a white model 3. Let's see if they will do it in the future.
  22. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

this morning I have seen one with 9% in my area but it's gone. From my impression white often shows least discounts, possibly due to the demand.
  23. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

we haven't reached 10% yet, and if you are talking about the color upgrade for current owner, the price reduction would only show up in the cart, as other poster said.
  24. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

is this what you want? it's showing 9% https://www.tesla.com/inventory/new/my?TRIM=LRAWD&INTERIOR=PREMIUM_WHITE&arrangeby=plh&zip=08311&range=0&referral=wingching986212
  25. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

That's why I don't think it would reach January level (15% btw) since color upgrade is a nice deal, in additional to the 5k miles.
  26. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

Actually, all time low in January was 15% (or more, people discussed 40k but I could not find a screenshot) But anyway, something like 12% would still be great with 15% being last year model inventory cleanup.
  27. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

Yes it makes sense too, as they would wait for the trade in offer expiring today to see its results. Surprised they went 9% this early though, which showed their desperation. And would it mean more than 10% in the coming days? Very much looking forward to it.
  28. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

With the color upgrade and bonus miles I bet they won't go to January level, if it's 10% drop I would be happy to take the bite.
  29. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

they are definitely trying different ways to maximize their profit, just a matter of how long and how persistent they can keep this FOMO game going. Good sign they are already dropping $500 but need more especially before the quarter ends.
  30. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

Is the 3k cap legit? If so the LR already hit that with $46050.
  31. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

Here in LA, they reduced base grey RWD and LR for around $500, still $500 higher than the lowest point in Feb. I amwonder whether they would reduce it further after the trade in supercharger miles ends (March 19), will hold off a little and see.
  32. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

As they now announce the April 1 increases, I don't think the general price level will drop anymore, Maybe a good deal here and there, but not generally, it would just contradict their current strategy (imposing fear). If you are like me who needs to buy a car by March, let's look around other...
  33. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

Yes, the same words now show on their inventory page.
  34. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

It looks to be about running out of inventory in my area. Many now showing around "Coming soon" or "In Transit" However it does not match the inventory count we see online, which skyrocketed a couple days ago from an already high level. Pretty strange times.
  35. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

in LA there are a shortage of base grey RWD it seems, inventory gone for a couple days. No change for LR.
  36. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

If you are just look for a $1000 discount from current price then you would probably get it by the end of March. For me who missed the January big discounts (LR around $5000 less than current inventory prices) but have a time constraint to get an EV (local program deadline), I am already...

Below the terms listed on the website: Up to 10,000 Miles Free Supercharging Customers who take delivery of a new Model S, Model X or Model Y by March 31, 2024, are eligible for 5,000 miles of free Supercharging on their new vehicle. Only available for cash or finance purchases. Customers...
  38. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

They have offered 5000 miles free supercharging + extra 5000 miles for trade in, but then increases prices (by $500) to compensate this. I believe I have seen similar strategy/policy in 2023.
  39. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

I think they actually wanted people to see they stand by their words for increases but real increases just $500 instead of the "$1000 or more" in just the first day is weaker than I imagined. But this is good news for buyers. Grey RWD did show around $1500 increases if we compare it to the...
  40. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

Are you looking at inventory with higher configuration? I am good with the basic trim/color for either RWD or LR and today they have around $1000 increases each then dropped the LR to just $500 increases. Overall, looks like they needed to keep their words by showing some increases on the...
  41. S

Order before March 1 or wait until end of Q1

They just have to go by their words for a period of time. Then we will see their tactics toward the end of Q1, as their inventory is at a historic high level.
  42. S

Model Y prices to increase March 1, 2024?

The $1000 price change they mentioned was on the original price, not the inventory price, at least the current reduction is. We will see how the increase is in March.
  43. S

    2024 Ys 10% off already

Right but February most likely a month to forget. Will see how March goes.
  44. S

    2024 Ys 10% off already

Looks like there are no more $40,840 $42,990 Stealth Grey 2024 MY RWD (the cheapest MY trim) inventory in Los Angeles County. Now $41,790 $43,990. Would be interesting they already remove the "price reduction" this early.

Some 2024 MY RWD battery/efficiency observation...

yeah it quickly slowed down to around 100kWh but admittedly I did not supercharge much except my 3 when it would normally be low at 20-30 % and 170kWh to start.
  46. S

Some 2024 MY RWD battery/efficiency observation...

Took a demo drive today and below some small things I found about 2024 MY RWD battery/efficiency, all other inputs welcome! - EPA MPGe shows as 120, 28kWh per 100 miles (while fueleconomy.gov show 2021 RWD as 129, 26kWh/100), while sales said 2024 LR AWD MPGe should be 122, similar to 2023...

  48. S

    2024 Ys 10% off already

no I am not saying I would buy it now. My program limits me to be buying by the end of March so my decision is between buying the end of Feb or the end of March, and I would still choose to wait till the end of March.
  49. S

    2024 Ys 10% off already

same here at LA, besides I took a demo drive today and the sales there would be be $2-3k increases in March. Not sure if he is referring to the original price and he won't tell me anyway. I need to buy by March for my state "replace your ride" program but despite the sales pressure, I still...
