I bought a 10% off red LR at the end of March with Feb manufacture date. There were some 2023 inventory in March, with deeper discounts than 2024 inventory but very few available.

My family had a 3 and it had a bumpy ride. Test drove the Y and it felt better so I was impressed. Got my Y finally and the feeling of bumpy ride came back. End up being a little better than 3 but not a whole lot better.

I believe so too, no way they are doing this for just a day. It isn't like they only have 10 cars in their lots. They would do it every day, the pressure kicks in for the "missed out" buyers for the rest of the day and force them to take the less discounted inventory.

For my area, only grey has 10% and others stay at 6-9% off (white is 3-5%). I agree grey should be cheaper than others with the free color upgrade but I am holding off to see if other colors will drop to 10% off or more.

Interestingly last Q2 they prioritized moving white and that's when my family got a white model 3. Let's see if they will do it in the future.

That's why I don't think it would reach January level (15% btw) since color upgrade is a nice deal, in additional to the 5k miles.

Actually, all time low in January was 15% (or more, people discussed 40k but I could not find a screenshot) But anyway, something like 12% would still be great with 15% being last year model inventory cleanup.

They just have to go by their words for a period of time. Then we will see their tactics toward the end of Q1, as their inventory is at a historic high level.
