Any drawbacks from doing that mod? Do you hear more rattles (not sure if the foam helps with rattles.) Was it hard to do the mod? I was going to just lay the tire down in the back area on our upcoming road trip.

Thanks. Yes, it still showed 100%. Most days I only charge to 50%. It sounds like my battery is still in great shape!

Depending on the setting the garage door will open if you are in front of your house, the myQ system uses distance to open the garage door.

It does see the ally as a roadway. I want to use FSD and have it take me exactly to my garage instead me having to disengage FSD.

I don't think that works. It just saves the address of our house, which takes you you the front of the house instead id the garage.

We park our car in the garage behind our house (the alley behind our house vs the street.) Is it possible to set my back drive way (or garage) as a pin and save that pin as home, so the FSD can navigate there when coming home instead of the front of our house?

Who is giving anyone a hard time about using the charity port?

They charge at 15 watts, so for a road trip where you are driving for hours, I could see it working better, but for in town trips, it's hard to add much charge to the batteries.

Also, if you use the rear passenger vent USBC where would put your phone? The ones up front allow the phone the be stored in the front compartment.

Do you have an iPhone? The charging speed is very very slow.

The wireless charger is trash. The usb c is inside that compartment.

Does anyone use the OEM console storage? It's odd that it doesn't have a cut out of the usbc cable, and the orientation is not correct to lay your phone in it. I suppose it's meant to push back.

I wasn't able to get to 100% charge yet, but here's another picture form a charge today. I didn't get it to 100% on this trip, but here's another screen shot. Also, for what it's worth this car was built in 7/2023 and has 3,467 miles on it. When I change to miles from % the car shows 249.

Thanks, I was more concerned with charging to 100% and letting the car air at >60% until tomorrow when we come home. I normally charge only to 50% every night and it's typically airs lower than that overnight until it starts charging early in the am.

No, it's not aftermarket. It's in a Tesla branded bag.

Thanks, I can understand if someone bought a carbon fiber frame, but these are in a bag from Tesla with nuts also (there is no way I can tell to use nuts on the OEM bracket.) Even the local SC wasn't sure what these were for. 🤷🏻‍♂️

There are clear spacers and nuts in there, too. The service center told me they have no idea what these are for.

Do putting cups in and out scratch that area easily? I was more so putting the plastic in to keep things from getting scratched up.

Do you know if that plastic scratches when you take water bottles in and out of it? I was mostly thinking the rubber inserts help with protecting the finish.

These were in my Model Y AWD trunk and the bag says rear license plate. They are from Tesla. My rear plate screws on to the back of the holder, I have no idea what these (and the plastic spacers / caps are supposed to be used for.)

I used some will 91 isopropyl alcohol today in a dew small places (one before applying ppf in a small area, and another to clean a mark off my car.) Everything looks ok, but I didn't dilute it. Is there any chance I damaged the clear coat?

If you look at your phone, look away from the road for even a second sometimes it seems, look at the screen for more then a few seconds sometime, etc you get a warning, and after so many warnings you can't use your Autopilot for the rest of that trip. After that happens around 5 times you can't...
