Is your house in a relatively new neighborhood? Do you have the 200A service to your house with some spare breakers in your breaker box? If so I wouldn’t worry about your utility company.
I struggled with the same question for weeks. Ultimately I'm happy I chose to skip PPF. Yes I have rock chips but the only time I see them is when I'm washing the car. In day-to-day usage and walking up to the car I don't notice at all. Save yourself the money.
This day was always going to come. First it was the Japanese, then the Koreans, and now these guys. I cannot see how anyone else can be price-competitive with the Chinese offerings. Just look at what they are doing with Temu and Shein, the prices are irresistible to people and I think the same...

Waited maybe 15mins and the gentleman took us to the car, moved it to another spot so we could thoroughly check it. We came back in after an hour and told him our findings. He tried...
$0.11 in FL
With the usual caveats - fuel rates vary, taxes on consumption above 500kwh not counted, monthly service fee. The utility pays me $7/mo to charge my ev overnight.
Nice that they came through, in my opinion you got lucky.
I was in the same boat as you with regards to purchasing a new Y before the end of the year. I read the caveats on the 6 month free supercharging incentive and it specifically talked about no guarantees they would actually deliver by the...
Turns out our first Tesla will be a MYLR inventory car that is ‘in transit’.

Got the VIN and all my documentation done.
Can’t wait!
