    no calendar access

Thank you EVRider. I was focusing on IOS since I hadn't expected the Tesla app to unset, and the settings menu had become less obvious compared to the earlier version I remembered. Your guidance should do the trick.

    no calendar access

I just updated my Tesla MS to 2024.14.7 and now can no longer access my iphone calendar. I received the message "Enable Calendar Access" & it instructs me to allow access on my phone app. I've turned the tesla app on and off, turned calendar access on & off in the iphone, rebooted my car...

    2023 Model S is a disappointment.

When I am setting up AP to park front-in, the AP sometimes moves the car and then initiates back-in parking. Am I doing something wrong?

    ripped seat repair

The fabric on my almost new Model S ripped -- I don't know how. What is the best way of getting this fixed? I am more concerned about preventing further damage than with getting a cosmetic match. I've read about self-adhesive transparent or matching-color jacket or tent patches.

2024 Model S warnings: regen braking, steering assist etc disabled

I had a similar problem (4 times in 800 miles) in an almost new Model S (late-2023). While it seemed strange, the cause was a faulty steering rack. The problem never recurred once they replaced the steering rack.

    advanced vs. standard software updates

What are the tradeoffs between advanced and standard software updates? I have a late-2023 Model S. I am wondering if there is risk of having a buggy update if receiving it at the early stage of rollouts.

    multiple systems disabled

same thing happened four times to my almost new 2023 MS. It's still in for repair, but technician thinks it due to a faulty steering rack. They also checked for loose connections,

Available For Sale: Model 3 Steering Rack, Electronics Faults, No Physical Damage, "AS IS"

I had something similar happen 4 times in 1600 miles of driving my new Tesla MS. I also lost regenerative braking and auto hold. Seems strange that a steering rack issue could disable so many things. After sitting overnight, the alerts and regen-braking problems went away.

Front Parking Camera - My $150 / 15 min. installed Solution

but it doesn't always raise enough for high curbs

driver's side view mirror does not fully extend/unfold

That happened to me (for the first time) this morning. (My car has only 1,500 miles on it.) When I used the car again, everything was working again. I have occasionally been losing park assist, blindspot, lane-keeping, regen braking, etc. Reboot doesn't help, but the car resets itself after...

    turn signals

Clever. Does it reduce sensitivity to a light touch?

    Gear Selection Voice Command

I agree with the gear selector but not the turn signal. When the steering wheel is rotated, I have to figure out which direction to push the turn signal and whether high or low control (and sometimes muscle memory isn't good). With voice command, I just have to touch the control and speak.

    door unlocking fails

I have my Model S (Sept 2023) set so that only the driver's door unlocks when I approach the car. When I want to open the other doors for accompanying passengers, I would press the door unlock symbol on the driver's door. That no longer works. There is no sound or any other indication of...

    turn signals

If the steering wheel is rotated 180 degrees in a turn, won't swiping up signal the opposite direction than if the steering wheel is pointing the wheels straight-ahead?

Can't connect to car using App when phone is on home Wifi

Good news! We just installed a better-situated and upgraded wifi repeater in the garage, and everything now works well. I no longer need to find a properly-situated parking spot to use the library's public wifi. According to a Telsa service rep, the wifi-antenna location or something else in...

    turn signals

This happens regularly when I am in a roundabout (there are many where I drive) when the wheel is rotated, and I want to signal that I am exiting the roundabout. This happens occasionally when I am taking two consecutive turns in a very short space. I also regularly use two roads where the...

    turn signals

I find it challenging to use the turn signal buttons when the wheel is heavily rotated. I was hoping that I could use a voice command such as "signal left turn", but the car doesn't understand. It seems like something that should be relatively simple. Is there a way of use voice commands to...

    more on FSD

I make a left turn and then want to continue straight rather than immediately making another left turn.

    more on FSD

I've been reply orally to the prompts when the cr asks why I turned off FSD. Do you think that does any good?

    more on FSD

As I've been using FSD more often with my 2-week-old Model S (2023), I've had the following issues. Has anyone else experienced these, and is there something I can do to reduce the problems? 1) Car changes lanes when there is no speed or congestion advantage to doing so. 2) When exiting...

    FSD getting things right

We have multiple mini-roundabouts and calming islands (with low curb) where I drive. Most are unlined. I find I need to disengage as the car doesn't recognize them well.

    corrupted firmware

My brand new Model S (80 miles and 3-days old) became undrivable when I attempted to do my first OTA update. Has anyone experienced the problem I have or do you have any other thoughts? 1) I have very weak wifi signal strength in my building's garage even when driving the car close to the...

    interior seat coating

I understand that technology has changed from earlier postings, so I am looking for opinions on seat protection coatings for my new MS. Are they needed or desirable? What do you recommend? Is anyone familiar Opti-Guard Leather & Vinyl coating? I plan to have the exterior treated with...

    new Model S

I'm learning. tough to apply turn signal when steering wheel is rotated 180 degrees. took a moment to figure out that the wipers control shows on the left screen. I'm not sure how to move maps and rear/side cameras about the screen and to resize. Had some instances of phone key not working...

    Phone as key working intermittently

I just got my Tesla S a few days ago, and occasionally it doesn't unlock with the phone key. I did a reboot and it now seems to be working. Coincidence? What do people think about a Tesla ring key?

    new Model S

I'm getting a new model S tomorrow to replace my 2015 MS 85D. Is it difficult to get used to the changes such as lack of stalks and changes in sensors? What should I focus on? Do new deliveries still have parking assist disabled?
