@TexasIronMan There is an Electrify America charging station at the Walmart in Eastland. Also appears to be a Blink charging station at Weatherford College. Perhaps between the 2 of those you can make the trip. Will you have access to a charger once you get to Abilene?

The chargers in Clyde are just a few minutes outside Abilene. With it still in the "permit" stage it's highly unlikely construction will even begin in Abilene this month.

I made it about 2 months after getting my M3 before getting pulled over by a Taylor County deputy sheriff for no front plate. I now have the removable mount so I can take it off to wash the car. Sometimes I forget to put it back on.

35kW max for me. I thought the first time was a fluke. After the 2nd time (and much frustration) I have started checking the charge rate every time I plug in somewhere.

Sounds like the new site you want to keep an eye on is in Santo (87125 I-20, Santo, TX 76472). There is a thread on this forum about it. I believe its just waiting on them turn on the power. I think we are planning on attending the DFW National Drive Electric Week event at Tanger Outlets Fort...

Had a chance to visit the site this morning. Looks like it just need some juice. The Circle H convenience store is well equipped and maintained (as pictured). The real treat is at Gilbert Pecan Co. next door though. Way more that just pecans. They have a nice selection of teas and a refillable...

I rely on A Better Route Planner pretty extensively. I reported this new site to them. They responded indicating it should appear in their system within the next 24 hours. I had also reported the Hamilton site when it came online but no word back on it.

Poof! Just like that we have a whole new territory to explore. Santo should be coming online any time now. Hopefully they will begin construction in Early soon. Still some big holes to plug but these will really help.

Autobots Roll Out! Its Transformer Day! ;) They said they should be done with their part today. My wife had to drive down in our ICE truck because its just a little to far to make it in the M3. Looks like this will be the last time having to do that :)

I was happy to see the big trucks parked in their designated areas and not blocking access to any of the chargers. No issues. Got the full 250kW at the start of charge. The convenience store restrooms were decent. Looking forward to future visits.

As a fellow Abilene resident, I am quite anxiously waiting for the these 2 sites to come online. With Hamilton now complete I hope they ramp up Early. We have a 2019 M3 LR. Not sure I could make it to Early and San Angelo in one day. How do you manage that? I can imagine it must have been a long...
