This is about average. From what I’ve read, one may expect 10% degradation after 100,000 miles.

Thanks for your thoughts. I understand that. Frankly, the brakes not being used much is a concern for me. With the roads being salted up here and living on the ocean, my feeling is that as long as the car is under warranty, I will use Tesla for these types of Maintenance issues.

I think Tesla is totally unique and outside the typical extended warranty analysis. My car with 400 miles on it needed a replacement of the Power Conversion System and the High Voltage Controller (both under warranty of course). If the car had been out of warranty, I would guess $8000 in repair...

Tesla will add a tow hitch assembly after-market complete for $1300 as opposed to ordering one from the factory at the time of the car order for $1000.

I saw a Tesla with the emblem gone and TESLA spelled out in satin black. It looked awesome. It appeared to be a newer Model Y. It was on the back.

I had this problem at 400 miles. They discovered it when they were replacing the high voltage converter and the power conversion system. I never noticed it, but had only had the car for a day. Car has run great since then. About three weeks and 500 miles.

I also was missing one screw and rather than get churned through the Tesla system bought the machined screws through Amazon (set of 4) for $6.99.
