Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

🤔 Do you reckon there’s anything that can be done that would prevent them from moving like that?

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

Good points. I guess my POV is, at any* given event, the Tesla can be a contender even in street trim. Clearly, it’s not the go-to, except in EVX right now. (Given the title of this thread, I understand how the conversation immediately took this turn. I had the impression that this was becoming...

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

I'm competitive enough and I see a potential path to better performance. Let's see where it goes. Yeah, helping build enthusiasm for EVs in the motorsports community is important to me. But I think seeing a Tesla in the mix with the GTSes and Z06s in their class is quite compelling. Ah, good...

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

They may be the best, but they're a bit much for me. BUT, you just reminded me about their FPX Damper Kit, which might be just what I'm looking for! I need to see if there are any class restrictions on the remote adjusters option.

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

You’re not wrong, but nobody else runs in EVX here and I’m not at Nationals yet.

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

I've been running stock for the last year (basically just wheels/tires) and am toying with the idea of spending a little for reduced body motion/roll. Despite going through tires, I want to stay in street class. So I'm looking around for shocks/struts and rear swaybar options. As you know, I...

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

Que sera sera. At least you held onto the harness - and I can't imagine driving without it now. Missed you in Buckingham. Great flowing course and good opportunities for speed. Yep, see you soon! 265/35/19 and the wheels are +34. Since the 660s tend to run wide, I think I would've gone 255 if...

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

Welp, upon swapping tires for tomorrow's event, I've decided the Stones have only one more event in them. I should have determined to flip them sooner. 🤷‍♂️ Lesson learned. Just placed an order for Falken RT-660s, but I am still interested in hearing what others are running with stock suspension.

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

Appreciate it. Yeah, unless some deal pops up, I will flip and keep running them. Regarding the Nankangs, one of our locals started running them on his GT3 and seems happy with them. He continues to be at or near the top of SS. To your point, I'm not running any Nationals events, otherwise I...

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

For those of you who will be running in AS - or are otherwise running stock suspension - what 200TW tires are you considering? I ran the RE-71RSes in 2023 and they're now half-worn and half-slicks as you can see in my last event vid below. I'm not ruling out running the Stones again, but I'd be...

Delivery scheduled for 2/23, so 38 days from order to delivery, coast to coast. Pretty cool.

Model 3 Performance Waiting Room [2020-2023]

They must allocate production somewhat based on destination. So it's a good thing you ordered; else, I might still be waiting.

Model 3 Performance Waiting Room [2020-2023]

VIN assigned this morning, 22 days since ordering, and that seems to be the same for other 1/16 orders in the spreadsheet. Tampa Bay area, FL Blue / Black OD 1/16 morning EDD 2/8 - 3/8 VIN 2/7 EDD (updated) 2/26 - 3/7

Model 3 Performance Waiting Room [2020-2023]

Eyeballing the spreadsheet, it looks like the average wait time from order to VIN for blue/black is 12 to 17 days (closer to 17) for my time period. I've exceeded that now, so I'm assuming my location is a big factor - and I have a feeling that I'm on the cusp of when people really started...
