Sorry to hear this. In Cali Tesla mobile is awesome...just got a flat from a bolt that absolutely wrecked my tire and Tesla were there in ten minutes with a brand new rear tire (he was going to repair but we both agreed it was shot) that they fitted, and I was on my way 20 minutes later.

I'm definitely not getting into an online contest about who has more $. But if we're going off your logic you could've bought a Bolt and saved and invested $90k 😉

I find the new OEM Tesla wheel makes the Plaid far more approachable....driving my friend's '22 with the Yoke it felt like I was hanging on when I floored it, much more serene with the wheel on my '23... but I appreciate YMMV and people should use whatever makes them happiest

Yes, absolutely. You can use your main screen to tell the car the change you've made too. That will inform the computer for range etc and the image of your car.

Mid-late Feb onwards build has the new roof glass, so double check the VIN and factory gate date. I posted pics looking out through the new roof a couple pages back on this thread. I posted pics of my 507xx VIN, built March 10, Plaid S that I picked up last week. Absolutely loving it.

It's supposed to be the same as the previous....it's not hot here right now so I can't speak to this but previously an MYP which had the lighter glass and it handled 100 degree SoCal sun just fine so not anticipating any issues....if there are I'll tint but I highly doubt it'll be needed based...

Got to thoroughly look inside and outside the car before picking up today. Has the new sunroof which is light like the Y roof but seems to still offer good sun protection, much improved. Steering wheel feels great to my hands and doesn't block the binnacle. Has the vein but it's not too...

the new rear screen is a huge improvement, modernizes the whole rear and the move from 8" to 9.4" offers a much bigger viewable area than those numbers would indicate.

Speed, software and usability (hatch, range, charge at home) are the keys to Tesla for me. I don't use FSD or superchargers FWIW. S and X are smooth and quiet, 3 and Y less so. S is a nicer place to spend time than a new 5-series, and a lot less dated feeling, but it's definitely less luxury...

I've owned two M3s and two M5s in the last ten years. When they were naturally aspirated and far unique from the regular series cars I loved them, but the last one was FI and it did nothing for me. I currently don't own a BMW and while I still think they make perfectly nice cars, I'm picking up...

It's should all be listed on the listing for your vehicle on Tesla-info, located on the bottom right after you click on your listing on the inventory page....I saved my link as they are hidden once sold But your build will almost certainly be HW4 looking at your VIN BTW black w cream interior...

Written out "Tesla" looks better than the symbol on the 3/Y wheel too to my eyes

Can't get right click to show anything but Tesla-info says re my vehicle: "AP HW4" and "Radar V2 fitted". 5073XX vin. Comparing, older 2023 vins say "AP HW3" and "no radar fitted"

It is. And to add to it, my SA just called about picking up my MSP with a factory gate date of March 10....without prompting he said "it's a Hardware 4 car" and has the new roof, so he sounds more informed than many of them, but he wasn't clued in on the new radar. I'm getting it Thursday late...

Moving from 2020 MYP to 2023 MSP this week so I'll have more to add later, but your bullet points are some of the reasons we're making the switch. You pay for it, but it's a big difference between the two vehicles.

Yah I think so, Tesla-info's info is spot on. My Vin ends in 5073XX so it was only built two days ago, but I'll check for the cams and new roof before accepting. Seat wrinkles too :)

There's mid February builds listed as having HW4 with radar are sans USS, I'm not sure anything built this year has USS....amazing how the Tesla customer service workers are given so little info...

I think he wanted to see Signature red, which is no longer offered. Very similar to this new "Ultra Red".

Agree w dmurphy and I love this update, always preferred the lighter glass on the Model Y, and I'm in sunny Southern California (currently not so sunny :)). Previous S roof was too dark it was kinda hard to see the palm trees😁 With the additional $5k, HW4 cameras and now this I'm glad I didn't...

I can see this and agreed it isn't acceptable, it's the other things you're talking about that nobody else can see but you. Just take a deep breath and remember it's a mass produced car and none of this is serious enough to be keyboard warrioring

I can't see the alignment issue with the hatch in the above pics....what is the issue can you circle it? I agree Tesla quality control is far from great, but this seems like the kinda of thing 99% of people don't notice as I've just spent 30 seconds looking at each pic and can't see what is wrong

Do all MY2023 cars get the 9.4" screen? It seems MY23 includes cars built in November and December. Four out of four Dec build all have the new rear screen (inc the one I have ready to pick up )with the much thinner bezels than the 8" but I haven't been able to see if the November builds get it...

Yup, MY23s built in Dec 2022 have USS...the MY23s built in 2023 with the new rear badging do not. USS essential for our garage as it's wide and tall but fairly short fitting the S by only about a foot or so, concrete parking stops as noted above I don't leave to sensors due to the low height.

This is only one I took other than the Vin pic. Cameras looked v similar to current setup. Maybe it isn't HW4, but it's definitely a 2023 year of build car that can't be sold until 3/1...will find out soon if they are HW4/3.5/3
