Much better news…… according to Tesla charge map, Thetford now open with 16 x v4

By the size of the stalls in picture on X they are V3 which is consistent with Welcome Break. Question is, how many? There are 8 stalls in place but there are least 4 cabinets if not more - love to see more images!

Just took a second look and doesn’t mention Tesla anywhere that I can see and I can’t see the two cabinets you would associate with eight Tesla chargers on the plans.

Just had a butchers at the plans and Reading looks like it could be 16 bays although 10 of them are marked phase 2 - who knows we will see. Peterborough is quite interesting as superchargers are included with a proposed restaurant / drive through.

They will keep putting them wherever they can as locations are difficult to come by. Any new supercharger site is a move in the right direction even if it requires registering in a hotel.

Looks like Hopwood Park has gone live with 20 x 250kw stalls added to the exiting 16 x 150kw.

Looks as though Birchanger Green expansion is now live with 20 250kw stalls. Nice to see the existing 4 x V2 still there as well.

20 including 4 pull through all V3 which fits with other Welcome Break expansions. Amazed this is just about complete and it’s only now being mentioned.

Dropping the ball? 17 new sites and 5 expansions with 254 stalls this year (assuming my adding up is right) and a host of other sites ready or thereabouts with up to 200 stalls. Theoretically knocking on 500 stalls by the end of the year but that is subject to UK power networks doing their bit...

Movement at Ipswich 12 oval shaped bases installed, so V3 looks likely, and looks like all equipment on site for completion.

Just a hopeful thought but possible that Trumpingon will actually turn out to be Cambridge services which is run by Extra. There are new markers at Peterborough, Beaconsfield and Winchester which are are also Extra Motorway services which makes me think this is possible.
